Nothing really that special about it , does the job, i experienced no issues with it, would recommend if youre on a budget and might want to upgrade to 32gb later as its not too expensive and its quite memory dense (8gb per stick)

I have a temp sensor above these RAM sticks and surprisingly the temperature never goes above 38 degrees Celsius. Makes me wonder if the fancy cooler I purchased for my RAM was worth it...

Has performed well for three years at this point, destroys everything I throw at it.

Works great and reports as 1600MHz. Heat spreaders will only be a problem with larger-profile coolers like the Hyper 212 EVO, but even then you can simply turn the fan the other direction. Good purchase.

Was easy to put in, working perfectly fine. The only complaint I have is that I wasnt too happy to see it was shipped in a flimsy little package with hardly any padding for such a fragile and thinly packaged item. If youre paying decent money for a valuable electronic it should come with better and more secure packaging.

This is a limitation of a 32-bit operating system. In Windows, the Windows memory manager is limited to a 4 GB physical address space. Most of that address space is filled with RAM, but not all of it. Memory-mapped devices (such as your video card) will use some of that physical address space, as will the BIOS ROMs. After all the non-memory devices have had their say, there will be less than 4GB of address space available for RAM below the 4GB physical address boundary. MacOS X Tiger and Leopard are both 64-bit operating systems and will not experience this problem. Neither will 64-bit versions of Windows XP or Vista or Windows 7.
