16Gb is enough for even the most demanding game, while its also good for some statistical analysis where the dataset isnt crazy big. Have to take out the heat spreader to make it fit under the CPU heatsink in my mATX board, but the taking apart isnt particularly difficult. If you intend to use the heat spreader (the comb like metal thing) you might want to press a little on it, coz when I take them out I notice on each side about one to two chips were not actually touching the adhesive (and no marks on it)

Its amazing what a memory upgrade can do. My old ram was starting to fail so I moved from 8gb to 16 gb. Super easy to install. Machine is running so much better now.

I see no difference in performance between this memory and stock Dell memory. Why waist your money?...Cuz it looks cool!

    Awesome

This is a limitation of a 32-bit operating system. In Windows, the Windows memory manager is limited to a 4 GB physical address space. Most of that address space is filled with RAM, but not all of it. Memory-mapped devices (such as your video card) will use some of that physical address space, as will the BIOS ROMs. After all the non-memory devices have had their say, there will be less than 4GB of address space available for RAM below the 4GB physical address boundary. MacOS X Tiger and Leopard are both 64-bit operating systems and will not experience this problem. Neither will 64-bit versions of Windows XP or Vista or Windows 7.
