Corsair makes great DDR3 memory and these modules I believe are their most popular product in this category. Personally I went for the higher clock rate but otherwise identical 1866 Mhz chips (2 x 8 GB = 16GB). As clock speeds are constantly on the rise I wanted to buy some ram that doesnt end up being a bottle neck in my overall system performance in a year or two.

Fast and seller delivered fast. One thing to keep in mind if you use the CPU cooling fan I did it would be tight to use this tall profile in all the banks because of it hitting the cooling fan I purchased. I used bank 2 instead and had no problems unless I wanted to add to bank 1 as well. Memory is terrific and had no problems since I purchased 2 sticks on a 4 bank motherboard.

I was debating between dominator and vengeance, although both of them are great products, I decided to go with Vengeance since I had cost constraints,

First off the sticks are a bit tall and when I tried to fit the Phanteks PH-TC14PE cooler in, the clearance was too low. I ordered knowing that I could mod the cooler fins to fit any sized DRAM so this wasnt an issue but this is a warning for those with large coolers.

Order came quick. Seems to work fine. However after install i did have issues during start up. But cant assure that this is due to the ram.

This is a limitation of a 32-bit operating system. In Windows, the Windows memory manager is limited to a 4 GB physical address space. Most of that address space is filled with RAM, but not all of it. Memory-mapped devices (such as your video card) will use some of that physical address space, as will the BIOS ROMs. After all the non-memory devices have had their say, there will be less than 4GB of address space available for RAM below the 4GB physical address boundary. MacOS X Tiger and Leopard are both 64-bit operating systems and will not experience this problem. Neither will 64-bit versions of Windows XP or Vista or Windows 7.
