It has been eighteen months since I built my computer using the 16 GB Corsair DD3 1600 Mhz, and it is still going strong!

Plugged it in, and it Fired right up, very fast speed profile without any input from me. It does XMP(Extreme Memory Profile), which was apparently already active when I went to BIOS to make sure the Motherboard recognized it. If your system utilizes it be sure to enable XMP is BIOS settings, it automatically chooses the best speed for the RAM.

Needed replacement as a stick of mine gave up the ghost. Great price and quick shipping had me back up in no time.

One of the two sticks of memory was DEAD ON ARRIVAL. The other stick worked fine. I tried various configurations. I even tried running both sticks solo. One stick was just bad - The system would not post with it installed. The other stick worked fine in the exact same configuration. Looks like Corsairs quality assurance is slipping. Not happy. Planning to return this.

i had the same model but 4x4mb because of the limitation of 16mb on Windows 7 but now with windows 10 I can go up to 32 so i bought these 4x8mb. It dramatically increase my performance and cut my load from 35-40% to 15-20%. I installed them on my existing 7 years old Asus Sabertooth P67 motherboard running i7 2nd generation. Works like a charm!

does exactly what it is supposed to do, it looks pretty cool. honestly i feel like ram is ram, but it definitely does exactly what it is advertised to do.
