Corsair RMX White Series (2018), RM850x, 850 Watt, 80+ Gold Certified, Fully Modular Power Supply - White, 80 PLUS Gold (CP-9020188-NA)

This CORSAIR RM Series, RM750, 750 Watt, 80+ Gold Certified, Fully Modular Power Supply unit provided a nice power bump to my PC in preparation for a video card upgrade. Ive made the mistake in the past of trying to upgrade graphics before power and it aint pretty. This power supply unit is just enough extra power over my old 500 watt psu to ensure I meet the needs of the new card and it was a dream to install (less than 30 minutes from power off to power on) what with the modular cabling system meaning I dont have to fold and tuck and tie up extraneous wires all over the place. Makes the insides of the computer a lot neater and less of a dust trap to boot. This unit is also virtually silent, and I only hear the fan come on when Im knees deep in a particularly demanding game Ive had Corsair PSUs in other rigs and have never had a problem yet.

Much better than the xion we previously had. Works fantastically and quietly.

I’ll admit I suffered a brief episode of shock and awe when I opened these power supplies. I was sure I had selected the wrong thing. My computers are all-in-one. touch-screens and there is no way something like this would fit inside them.

I love the white color. Really looks good inside my system. Works well. No problems with install or power levels or heat. Works great. Im plenty happy with it. It anything changes I will edit this post.

I have two of these psus, one for my gaming pc, and another one for my dedicated streaming pc. It does what a power supply should do and is reliable. This is my preferred power supply when Im thinking about a new build. Dont cheap out on the psu powering your components, just get this and dont look back.

I received a defective one. I really would like a replacement but my warranty was all for nothing if its gonna be sold from 3rd party. At least customer service is very helpful. Thank you.
