> 3 dayOverall I think the actual PSU is very good. The fan control is mostly silent until under load works fine. Its very attractive looking in white. Ive had no issues with the actual unit.

> 3 dayBeen using it for 4 months now without issues. Its super quiet and youd never know it was there. The modular aspect really keeps the case looking clean by only using the plugs you need.

> 3 dayThe Nylon jacket and rigid tape on the cables is totally unnecessary for this type of scenario ‘ Computer Build‘ It only makes the cables stiff and hard to maneuver and a undesirable appeal . It does not give the wires or insulation any type of protection inside a computer. I did stripe mine. If so make sure not to damage the insulation or you can buy their “Custom Package” Same cables but without the nylon jacket and type

> 3 dayMy husband’s job is in the computer engineering field, and we own many, many computer-related items. He saw this and had to have it. He said he wanted it to replace the OEM power supply in an eight year old Dell Optiplex 790 that has been running FreeBSD 24/7 as a lightweight personal server. He stress tested it for two weeks with regular load plus power intensive CPU and hard drive loads using the stress-ng utility and observed no problems or excessive noise. My husband really likes that this has modular cables because there are no unused/spares to tie up out of way or to block airflow. This supply’s connectors are tight and have a thumb-clip to hold it/them in place. When powered-on, the fan spins up then turns off in less than a minute in what Corsair is calling Zero RPM fan mode. However, if a high CPU or hard drive load is imposed on the system the fan spins up again. We like this but would caution that this could cause localized excessive heat (e.g. hard drive) inside any computer cases that are designed with the assumption that the power supply fan is always moving air through the case. When it is on at what is assumed full speed, the 140mm fan is large enough to move a good volume of air fairly quietly. As it isn’t listed what come with this power supply, it includes: 1 modular 24-Pin ATX motherboard power cable, 2 modular cables, each supplying power to three SATA drive power connectors, 1 modular cable that supplies power to four IDE (a.k.a 4-Pin Molex) drive power connector, 2 modular cables, each supplying power to two 6/8 combo PCIe power connectors, 2 modular 8-Pin CPU power cables (EPS12V), 4 black case screws, and 10 black tie-wraps. We are both very happy with this, and I highly recommend it!

> 3 dayGood power efficiency (Fan is dead silent or not required to spin). Everything was packaged very nicely and easy to remove out of the box. Cables came in a cable carrying case. PSU cables were all white which is also a bonus but if youre buying because of the cables recommended to get PSU cable extensions.
