Didnt power on when connected to motherboard. The fan on power supply didnt spin either.

Overall most corsrair psus are great and I recommend them; this one however the RM850x has been great to me and havent had any problems with it. Only regret with this psu is not buying the black one instead to match my color scheme for my pc.

I haven’t finished building my PC yet but from and aesthetic standpoint? I think this baby is looking good in the Death Star (the name I’ve given my PC HAHA). I’m gonna put a few stormtrooper funko pops inside as well. It’s gonna look sick, totally custom for my VERY FIRST PC build. I’m so excited!!

I bought this PSU for my new build, needing a bit more ummph for the upgrades I did in CPU, RAM and GPU (if you dont know what those acronyms stand for, you probably shouldnt be reading this review). What I wanted was near silence and capable load handling when all the dependent resources were working at their max. This power supply is quiet and has not even hiccuped in the most demanding games Ive played. Easy to install, even in an existing build. I would definitely buy this PSU again. One note to beginning builders: get a modular (or at least semi-modular) unit; then you are only using cabling you need and can add more as you add components to your system. Corsair is a brand I trust and buy without worry.

Arrived on time but DOA.

I was considering buying custom sleeves but decided to give this a shot. Really like how it turned out, the RM850s a great psu to begin with and with the sleeved cables it brightens a build up.

Great when paired with a lower end Ryzen chip. The cables are lower quality but work well. They dont snap easily into the PSU so push hard and double check. For boards with 6 pin power connector, the 12 pin cable on this is designed to split in 2, which isnt apparent at first.

No problems so far, and I cant hear it at all. I like the look of the white cables, and had no problems installing it

Not much more needed to say never had one fail and they always have enough cables for any build. Plus it’s white.

installed on my $2000 gaming pc and as soon as i powered it up i heard a popping noise and smelled that burnt electronics smell. it also fried my 4tb hard drive, fried almost every single rgb light in all 7 of my fans, and now my 2070 super founders edition graphics card doesnt work properly! this is a corsair power supply! it should be one of the most trusted names in pc gaming! never again will i purchase ANY corsair products, no matter how non-mission critical a part it is!
