13-11-2024Great power supply. Does as advertised. The only difference I found between this model and the newest was that the wires were combed on the newer. I had little preference, so the extra savings was nice.

> 3 dayFair warning, if you notice that the fan doesnt spin while at Idle, dont freak out. The fan kicks in once its under load. Its also really quiet , like I cant hear it even when the fan is going. Way better than my old OCZ PSU, so Corsairs quality is great.

> 3 dayI bought this on Aug 17th 2021 and only this year January I put it to use when I got an rtx 4070 Ti. With my components I easily have 200 to 150w extra since this is the 850w psu. Its now April and over the last week I started to get random restarts and today my pc wont start up anymore. The lights turn on but no fans spin. I hear the psu try to turn on twice then it stops. Im thoroughly disappointed.

> 3 dayEasy install... PS is really nice, its just that the cables within the PC are difficult to trace & replace with ones frome the new PS. So far Great Power Supply. Changed from a 600 watt to a 800 watt. Feel safer knowing I now have ample power for pretty much any peripheral I may come across.

> 3 dayI hate to write reviews. but in this case I am like others that are disappointed with the quality of Corsair with their PSU. my system needed an upgrade and this unit was a good deal. However, I have a suspicion that this PSU was a refurbished vs. new. it did not come with the full package (missing just some items like the user / install manual that laid out the motherboard connectors, etc. ). So far during burn in, it was first DOA, but this morning a touchy cable started working. I am going to test for a while this week and decide if I can use it steadily or not. It might have to go back.
