Rock solid power supply with minimal heat generated and super quiet. I use it in a 5-card mining rig and the PSU generates less heat and noise than even 1 GPU. Modular so I can connect cables when I need them. The only complaint is that it has only 5 PCIe 8-pin cables, not 6. I would buy this again.

Needed a awesome modular power supply for a year now as I had to dual psu my system cause of my demanding graphics s card. This worked perfectly... for two days, then it died. Had to RMA through Corsair, waiting on its return. Hopefully then I can give you the stars you rightfully deserve.

Installed it a few mths ago, working well. The last Corsair psu still works well for 7+ yrs but I needed to upgrade.

Does the job. Easy to install and enough cables for all of your accessories.

A good PSU is one that does its job and goes unnoticed and thats exactly what this PSU does. I upgraded from a 500 watt evga bronze PSU after my 8700k upgrade and while the 500w evga was probably enough, I wanted something modular for cleaner cable management and the all black cables of this PSU were also a huge plus as theyre much nicer looking than the mustard and ketchup colored ones of my old one. My old PSU was somewhere around $30 when I got it a few years ago and with this one being at around $100 dollars you can see the difference in quality right out of the box, it just has a high end look and feel to it with the packaging and everything. I cant attest to the actual quality of the internals but the general consensus around the internet is that you do get what you paid for in terms of the components that this PSU is made of. I read somewhere that the older RM series used high quality capacitors for the main caps but lower quality secondary caps, while the newer RMx line uses the same high quality capacitors all throughout. I guess this PSU also comes with a 10 year warranty, which is reassuring as you usually dont see warranties span that much time and most people probably usually dont keep the same computer hardware that long anyway, though I definitely think that this PSU will be able to last through several builds. As for the 0db fan, I dont think my old PSU had that feature, but honestly I could never hear the PSU fan over the case fans at low load, and at high load my GPU fan would drown out any other noise.

I bought one of these power supplies, it came brand new and did not work, it would not power on, it shut off as soon as I pressed the power button on the PC. So I exchanged it for the same one, it happened again. Brand new, and broken before I opened the box.
