I have purchased 3 of these and most recent one a month ago. I have never had problems with Corsair or their power supply units and this RM750X model in particular. I suggest you return it and get another one if you got unlucky with a lemon. I have not had it happen to me, my friends, or relatives that have purchased power supplies from Corsair. Remember there are always failures no matter what you try to purchase out there. This is one of Corsairs better items because I have not had the ability to see one fail. I have however seen a few RAM packages fail and then I would return them and the next set would be fine, but RAM is a more finicky product in my opinion, but power supplies I have never seen it from Corsair yet.

Great max power supply. Installed to power ROG vesion 10 mobo, ASUS 1080 graphics, 64 MB memory plus all the normal extras. Canot go wrong with this modular product.

Right out of the box the unit would not work and Amazon will not allow me to return. The return window is so short, geez, sorry for having a job and it taking me a little time to get around to working on the computer. Long story short, dont buy this piece of junk!

Great power supply, 10 out of 10 on Johnny Guru testing. I am running a heavily overclocked intel system with twin gfx cards in x-fire with zero problems.

Blew the first night. I was thinking there might be a fuse in it I could replace and took it apart, probably voided the warranty. Heard horror stories about the RMA Process, and I needed a PSU fast. Taking the hit.
