Corsair 4000D Airflow Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX PC Case - Black

This is my first non-black case which I am using for a home server an upgrade for the Corsair Carbide Series Spec-01​ Mid-Tower

This case was great to build in. Cable management was definitely considered when this case was designed. It came bundled with a Corsair H100i AIO. These paired well together. It comes with two 120mm fans included. It has great air flow. With an I5-10600K under the H100i it was able to stay fairly close to the ambient room temp with prime95 running for an hour. When I first opened the case I found a broken piece of plastic in it. After looking over every part of the case inside and out. I was not able to find where it could have broken off from. Next I used a mini ITX board. The stand offs in this case come pre-installed. The one that would be the center of a standard MB is a stud rather than a normal standoff. It is the bottom corner for a mini ITX board. So I had to swap it for a different location. This is the second Corsair case Ive built in. The other is a 750D. I would recommend Corsair to anyone looking for a well built quality case.

Jai acheté cette boite PC il y a quelques semaines et je suis absolument ravi de mon choix. La qualité de construction est exceptionnelle et elle est silencieuse, ce qui est très important pour moi. De plus, lespace intérieur est très grand, ce qui me permet de ranger facilement toutes mes composantes. Je recommande vivement cet achat à tous ceux qui recherchent une boite PC de qualité supérieure et fonctionnelle.

The hardest part is running the cables from the power supply (depending on your PS I guess). The rest was a breeze. Quiet, looks good and plenty of air movement.

Front mesh strikes the fans and the noise is just annoying

I bought this case a couple of weeks ago and was waiting for a separate component to arrive so I could my my system from an old case to this one with better airflow and water cooling. Finally put everything together last night save the front panel. Went today to put the panel on and it dropped about 2 inches hit the platform and literally exploded. With enough force that I actually suffered some minor cuts. The glass was under so much stress it seems that for about 15 minutes after it was still crackling and breaking apart on the floor while I was cleaning up my cuts.

First time using Corsair again to build a commissioned system in after being a fan of their long-EOLd 500R series. Solid panel 4000D (and its variations) were not considered in build. Overall a good quality, easy case to build in. HDD trays are simple plastic, held in with tabs. Bottom mounted HDD cage is movable via thumb screw to various positions. Cable routing is sufficient with a normal ATX style build. Bottom power supply shroud that is full length front to back is a bit cumbersome in size but didnt restrict mounting an EVGA 650w G3 Gold PSU in it.

Looks really nice the packaging however is annoying its all those tiny Styrofoam beads and gets shredded once you take it out

comprato a luglio 2022 e oggi ho aperto il case dal pannello di vetro, mi è esploso il vetro in mano mentre lo aprivo facendomi male col quale taglio ma niente di grave.
