Corsair 4000D Airflow Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX PC Case - Black

I wanted a smaller case for my gaming rig. I bought my 4000D airflow when it was $79. I have about 5 years of pc building experience. From servers to full rigs. Definitely not a pro!

This is not the case I wanted to buy. The Lian Li Lancool 2 Mesh or the Fractal Meshify 2 are both cooler cases with better features. But neither is ever in stock, and Im not going to pay scalpers; this one was all I could find for sale at MSRP. And its OK, I guess. Adequate. The input selection is sparse. I had to completely remove the HDD tray to fit in my 850W PSU. The airflow is top notch, as youd hope for on an airflow case, able to keep (with three front fans installed) an overclocked 980ti Classified at 77C under full load. And Corsairs new styling is nice, even that weird new shade of Corsair Yellow theyre using. The only issue Ive had with it is that the single USB Type A port is prone to disconnecting my thumb drives, but luckily the Xbox Wireless Adapter I typically use that port for doesnt have that issue.

Easy access great price and great to work with

Got this case for airflow and fans, I will say my old Antec 302 was a workhorse for over a decade housing probably 4 new system builds, this case has incredible cable management and I now understand why people want glass sides to show off the build. The temps have significantly dropped on the CPU and GPU (10+ degrees) with even the hard drive and SSD/nvme drive dropping. I will say the only con is the lack of a second USB 3 connector on top for a USB c instead, but the 5000 series seems to have learned from this. Over all highly recommended and just make sure the fans are set to a positive case pressure.

Built my first mid range pc with an rtx in this case

Un excellent boîtier PC avec un très bon airflow, très bien fini et de bonne manufacture. Le câble management a très bien été pensé. Boîtier bien fini, robuste et de bonne manufacture. Je recommande ce boîtier pour de grosses configues.

Worth the money

Excellente tour à la fois esthetique, sobre et élégante. Pas de problèmes pour installer les composants (une alimentation non modulaire passe largement). De plus il est possible de détacher la facade avant et le filtre pour aspirer la poussière, ce qui est un très bon point. Je recommande.

i like it as soon as i received it, but i could see that the tempered glass was going to be an issue as soon as i thought that and laid it on the desk the glass shattered. i been so busy i finally ordered another tower as much as i wanted this one i would not re order it for the simple fact that i know any little tap the glass will shatter again. it is cheaply made. the tower itself was great. but just for the glass i would give it a zero.
