Great performance, however, the tip over basis very delicate. a very small internal piece of the hinge easily snaps off, rendering the antenna useless. Beware... Handle with great care.

This antenna is perfect. Ive had it for a few months and am genuinely pleased. I operate a ham station from home and have a mobile unit as well, this antenna helps me reach out while I travel. Im frequently in hilly terrain, if I need to contact someone while in the valley I can. Priceless and necessary when in disaster times. I garage my car. I can lay this antenna down by unscrewing the threaded piece at the base. functionally perfect. I have two of these. You wont be disappointed.
