> 3 dayThese brushes are soft enough that gums are not damaged. Another plus is the brushes do not cause a significant collection of unused toothpaste down in the depths of the brush which would cause the brush to be brittle and more at risk of injuring the gum tissue. I also bought a second set just to have available to replace these when the need arises.

> 3 dayThese “soft” toothbrushes are NOT soft at all. Tearing up my gums no matter how gently I try to brush. I cannot imagine what the “medium” brushes would do to one’s mouth/gums. I do not recommend these.

> 3 dayI love the head of the brush...but I hate the handle....it turns over when its slippery with toothpaste on my hand....No matter how I place my thumb on the textured rubber area, trying to hold the handle straight, the fact that the handle is round and not flat, the brush rotates as Im using it....I have to constantly keep repositioning it in my hand...Its actually a ridiculously designed handle....Ive had other toothbrushes where I loved the handle but hated the brush.. This is the opposite....The brush is very gentle on my gums...I love that part of it....the handle, an epic failure........I would have given this 5 stars if not for the wonky handle...It doesnt need to be that thin...or round. I want to meet the person who designed this handle....I want to watch them use this toothbrush....Maybe in a mans hand, this works better....not for a female with small hands...

> 3 dayThese toothbrushes used to be my favorite. I have used them for years. However I think that has changed. I ordered soft and the bristles are DEFINITELY NOT SOFT AT ALL!!!! These have changed design and aren’t as easy or comfortable to hold. I didn’t get any of the colors in the picture so it can be hard for my husband who is color blind to tell which one is his and which is mine. I used to have these on subscription because they were my absolute favorite but no more. I am extremely disappointed. Do better Colgate. Just do better! Such a disappointment

> 3 dayI like the medium bristle strength because it cleans better than soft and it doesnt hurt my gums like the high does. The tongue scrubber on the back does a great job. The rubber grip on the handle and the contoured frame are perfect for getting to hard to reach places like the sides of my back teeth.

> 3 dayUPDATE - May 2016 - When I wrote my initial review the color scheme on these looked different. Each handle was blue and white with small color accents. You had to look closely to see the difference between the four in the set since blue was the primary color of all four. That is no longer the case so these are now much easier to identify. ORIGINAL REVIEW - I appreciate that this 4-pack is available through Amazons Add-on program and that the free Prime shipping extends to military APO/FPO addresses. I like the head/bristle design on this toothbrush and the integrated tongue cleaner. If you dont share a bathroom and youre buying these to use for yourself the blue handle theme works fine. The same is true if youre having these shipped to a military address and they are going to be distributed to a group that isnt keeping them in the same toothbrush holder. However, if youre intending to use these in a common shared bathroom toothbrush holder you might want to consider if the slight color variations on the toothbrush heads are enough to help you identify whose is whose. I am much less likely to pick up a toothbrush that isnt mine if the handles are different colors. If you are sharing a toothbrush holder with a guy like me youre probably going to want that guy to have a toothbrush color that stands out and is distinctly different than the others. Guess Im just not as observant as some when it comes to small details like the color variations in these toothbrush bristles. I last purchased the 4-pack in March of 2015 and paid $8.97.
