> 3 dayI received my Cocopar monitor and immediately plugged in to my iPad Pro to try it out. Made a few adjustments, such as, brightness, color and set HDR to auto and it worked great with the USB-C cable provided. The iPad provided the necessary power to power both the iPad and monitor. Make sure you are using the magic keyboard with a secondary charging port or a USB-C hub for prolonged use as the monitor will drain the iPad fairly quickly. Evening using Shiftscreen software to use this monitor as an extended monitor for my iPad Pro worked good. The response time was good and the monitor worked great throwing some ultra 4k HDR video to the screen, but I was using the HDMI cable and powering the monitor separately and not through the iPad.. I didnt notice any dropped frames. Plugging this into my MacBook Pro worked great with no complaints for a portable second monitor and was pretty much plug and play as an extended monitor. Even on my work laptop, a windows machine, with a little click here and there in the settings it was up and running quickly. The monitor is a solid metal build and the bottom flips out instead of a screen cover providing the stand and there is a rubberized strip on the monitor to keep it from slipping. Multiple viewing angles are possible and had no fear of it falling over or slipping out of place. It is light and easy to put in my laptop sleeve to carry with me. There is no screen protection so you have to be a little careful when putting in the same bag as your laptop, but included in the box was a protective case which is padded and includes a zippered pocket for cables and other accessories. I would use the case, although it does add some extra bulk to the portability. Some have mentioned they are unable to get High Dynamic Range (HDR) output, but it will not output HDR unless there is HDR content to show. I know that when looking, for example, at the setting on an iPad Pro, it only shows SDR output, but it will automatically chanage then viewing HDR content. This is a good portable monitor. Dont expect this to compete with $1500 or $5000 monitors, it wont. However, for the times you need to bring along a second screen to be more productive this is a good one to purchase. Its well built, has a base to support multiple viewing angles and multiple ports.

Greater than one weekI went into looking for a portable monitor with the hopes of: 1. Being able to store it easily when not in use 2. Being able to carry it around when needed 3. Only needing one cable for power and display 4. Having a sturdy, integrated kickstand instead of a smart cover A lot of the portable monitors I saw easily hit the first three points, but the last one didnt seem to be as common. I almost wanted to give in until I saw this one, and so far, it has exceeded my expectations. The picture quality is amazing, the kickstand is far from fragile and it even comes with a sleeve that can protect the monitor and carry all accessories. I can say that I am very pleased and would definitely recommend it to anyone else looking for a portable monitor!

> 3 dayRecently used this monitor on a trip when I needed to get some work done. I love that it is so portable but quality like my monitor at home. I’ve got a Mac mini, so it means that I can use my actual computer when traveling instead of logging in remotely. It came with all the cords I need to hook it up anywhere. I love the USBc cord since it does power and visual/audio at the same time. Definitely a must buy.

> 3 dayI got this screen to be able to work more efficiently when I am traveling. I just hook it up to my laptop and I get two screens. It took a little work to get the screen settings setup correctly for my use (but it was not hard to do that). Overall, this screen is perfect for what I got it for, it folds very small and works great.

> 3 dayI’ve tried a few different monitors and this one is the best one. It’s priced well and the quality is outstanding. My wife uses it to work from home and it’s made her job easier.

> 3 dayThis monitor is a lifesaver. It is slim, lightweight, and reasonably durable. I drive about 500 miles a week, go through airports and hotels, setting up two or three times a week. Recommended for anyone who needs a portable monitor that plugs and plays instantly! I have had GREAT customer service with personal and fast attention from real human beings at Cocopar when I needed a new cord (provided free of charge!) and have purchased two monitors in the last two years. PLUS the monitor feels and looks sleek and high quality. Professional enough for mainstream administrative functions.

09-11-2024I bought this when it was on sale and it is a great purchase and very easy to set up. It’s just bigger than a 9th generation iPad - which fits nicely in my tech backpack. The monitor almost looks matte compared to my laptop screen - which helps with glare. I’m already considering getting a second to have a 3 monitor setup.

> 3 dayI have tried several of these displays for my iPad. They all have the same thing in common which is they run slightly blue. This is the best of the ones I have tried and after a lot of tweaking and comparing in mirror mode I have gotten the colors relatively close to the iPads- or as close as I am going to get but good enough that I do not have to send back the display. As for picture quality, it is great. Not super crisp like the iPad screen, but really good. Good enough that nothing is blurred and great for a second display. I am not an audiophile but the sound from the speakers is great in my opinion. Quality is fine for my needs. The controls are fairly simple to set up the dial for the controls is either brightness or volume when not in the main settings. Works great with the iPad. I have an iPad Pro can I connected via USB-c and the display turned right on without issue. Sits perfectly in the cover at a decent angle. Great for watching something on m iPad on a bigger screen. No external power either, and doesn’t seem to drain the iPad battery too fast. This isn’t the cheapest display on the market, but not the most expensive either. However, I am happy with it.
