excellent, completely non-irritating. Stopped my gum recession along with gentle diligence 2x/day with other tools. Almost tastes like water. Occasionally there will be a whiff of chlorine. wish Clo-Sys did not always send the mint drops that can be added. I have never felt a need for them. Although I wish it cost less, I am super grateful for this product. First learned about it from University of CA San Francisco Dental School

My husband suffers from gingivitis. Hes had the periodontal cleanings, scalings, whatever we could afford. His gingivitis would return. He pretty much stopped going to the perio Dr on his own (Im working on getting him to go for cleanings at least) but I decided to order this for him because the bleeding started to get really bad. After one day of use his breath improved 100%! The bleeding is way less, if noticeable at all. Havent seen stains on his pillow case and best of all he really likes the mouthwash. He doesnt like the taste of the drops so he doesnt use them. Overall were both pleased. Ive been using Listerine for years but may switch to Closys due to how it changed my husbands bad breath so drastically.

If you dont have sensitive taste buds or a super dry mouth, this could be considered a good value. For me, the chlorine something-or-other stayed with me for a couple of days - yuck! And it didnt ease my night-time dry mouth. I tried adding the optional flavoring included, but the after-taste didnt change. That said, I have an aversion to chlorine, so that might be the prob for me. For ex., I dont use bleach as it gives me bronchitis.

My periodontist gave me these but I ordered more. It works well! My general dentist told me that my gums are cleaner than most patients he sees after implant. It’s tasteless but you can add the mint natural oil dropper into the bottle and shake it if you want flavor. I prefer without it. I use this twice a day once in the morning and at night after flossing and brushing with electric toothbrush. I also noticed that it helps with any pain after a surgery. Lessens the pain maybe due to the ph and killing of any bad bacteria. Definitely will keep ordering. Have it on auto ship it’s that good. Packaging came perfectly too. No leaks. Bottle sealed brand new. Came with a coupon too but I didn’t use it since I buy from Amazon.

I like that it comes unflavored, but it comes with peppermint oil so you can flavor it as much or as little as you want. Highly recommended by periodontist. Toothpaste is great too.

I love this mouthwash. I am allergic to mint, and aside from children’s bubblegum/strawberry/etc, this is the only mouthwash I can use. It actually tastes flavorless and the bottles last a while, even using it twice a day.

We live in Hawai‘i, where there is no flouride in the water, and I cant believe how easily my daughter has gotten cavities (She is five and has had maybe five filled already, whereas I grew up on the Mainland and never had a cavity in my life). We were brushing and flossing thoroughly and often, but nothing helped! Then, a cousin recommended a routine he had read about...It seemed a little over-the-top, but we started trying it, and shes had no cavities since. The routine includes: Mouth-washing for 2 minutes with a cap-full of Closys, brushing for two minutes, flossing, mouth wash with Listerine for 30 seconds (shes too young for that, so we skipped), mouth wash with Act Flouride rinse for 2 minutes, and mouth-washing with a teaspoon of xylitol for 2 minutes. Closys can be used completely without any flavor, or you can customize the taste by adding the mint additive that comes with it for a subtle mint taste. It seems gentle and is easy for my girl to use. Obviously, it isnt all weve been using, but Im so thankful this routine has been stopping the cavities! I love that it comes in two large bottles, so I dont have to order too often.

Dental hygienist recommended along with hydra-flosser to get gums back in healthy condition. Haven’t had follow up visit yet so I don’t know the effectiveness.

I like this mouthwash because it is unflavored. What I dont like, is you cant get the unflavored product without the flavor dropper. The dropper packed into the same box as the mouthwash permeates into the plastic of the container. One of the primary reasons I buy this product is that I hate the smell/taste of mint. Ive tried washing the mouthwash container but it still stinks. The only remedy is to transfer the mouthwash to another container. TO THE MANUFACTURER PLEASE OFFER THIS PRODUCT PACKAGED WITHOUT THE FLAVOR DROPPER !!!! Id give it a 5 star rating if they did that.

When I received a cancer diagnosis and began chemotherapy I had trouble with taste sensitivity, could not use any mouthwash with alcohol in it and I cannot tolerate the strong mint taste in most all mouthwash. This was the one I tried and have been using it for the past 4 plus years. I would recommend it for anybody who has similar problems. The mint flavoring comes in a separate little bottle and you can either leave it out or add a few drops or the entire bottle to suit your taste. I usually put just a few drops in to lightly flavor it and sometimes none at all.
