CK-3M Comet Deluxe 2-Step Cable Assy, 10, Inc/18 RG-188A/U, Gold UHF Conns

I purchased this cable assembly for my dual-band mobile ham radio that is installed in my Ram 1500 pickup. The antenna is installed using a fender mount, which requires me to run the cable in the gap between the hood and my front fender. Although my original cable wasnt very thick, in a short time the coax became damaged and the result was extremely poor performance from my radio. This cable assembly solved the problem. The end of the cable is much thinner and easily fits between body panels and door gaskets without being crushed. Not sure why all cables arent built like this.
