These seem to filter out more than when I used the big ones. I change them about once a week for my spoiled kitty.

It’s hard to write a review on something that you can’t test and validate. I can’t speak for the quality and purity of the pets’ fountain, and they can’t tell you if a filter does what it must. All I can say, I will purchase again, with a hope that it does a decent job filtering.
