I change this every month. Between dust, dog hair, etc. it gets pretty full by the end of the month. Seems to work.

Very good quality charcoal filter. I do need to trim the size a little but that’s no problem!

Sent the product back on 9/25 and still awaiting a refund. Nothing wrong with it, simply ordered the wrong filter thinking it was the complete filter system. This is the longest Ive ever had to wait for a credit for anything on Amazon. Oy vay...

This is my second order of these pre-filters. They work every time and always arrive undamaged and ready to use. I used to blow them off and keep reusing the same one but, for this price. Ill just keep buying fresh ones. These seem identical to the OEM ones but, way cheaper.

Price is reasonable for a filter. An original one from GermGuardian is slightly overpriced. Red light was blinking after three months. I checked a filter. There were lots of dust and small light bright color particles on a filter. Check a photo. e.g.) I vacuumed my room every two weeks, so I didnt except there were lots of dust in my room I detached an original filter and replaced it with a filter by CFS. It was slightly longer than an original filter, but it did not have any problems for installment. After the replacement, I pressed a UV button for 3-5 seconds to reset a indicator (red to green). The filter is a great way to extend the life of my HEPA filter. Right after the 4th of July I checked the carbon pre-filter on my air purifier. The particulate matter from all the fireworks near my home had really coated the old carbon pre-filter. It was great to be able to quickly change just that bit to extend the life of my HEPA filter. Its sill important to regularly change the actual HEPA filter, but I feel that changing the charcoal pre-filter really does help to extend it for a short time
