Wanted something to throw our Nuna Pipa RX into before gate checking and this seems fine! Kind of a tight squeeze though, not sure if it would fit with the base. I like that it folds up into a little bag.

I have the Nuna Pipa that requires a base for installation/use. When we made airplane travel plans I was a little stressed about how we would transport the carseat AND base on the plane since it seems a little bulky (especially with the Nuna base having the support leg on the base). This bag was so convenient for us to be able to gatecheck the bag and was fairly easy to get around the airport with. Although this is a thicker material and does offer a good amount of protection, I dont think that I would consider this to be super padded. I think you could fairly safely check this bag but to be on the safe side I think it is best suited to carry with you through security and gate check (which most airlines offer for free of charge without it counting against your luggage allowance).

And in the end, the best are those that can withhold travel to and from, and has backpack style straps. With small children, being hands-free is Key. That being said, this is a nice travel bag for the infant car seat. Features a nice gray water resistant fabric, metal zippers, side pockets, and even feet for the bottom. Nice thought, but only works if the airline places it the correct way. It came neatly folded and can be stored as such when not in use. However, it is a top handle bag. A bit awkward and not comfortable to carry. The handles are for transferring, from cart to trunk. For airline to hold and carry to toss into gate check luggage. Priced $39.99 at time of order and review, and even with 5% coupon. Id say for the price, i would want a more convenient carrying handle. Preferably backpack style. I was able to fit my Chicco keyfit seat and base into this carrier. Theres still a bit of wiggle room, so it was not a struggle to get the seat in & out. Should fit other brand seats as well, but of course, measure first. The material is a thick, durable canvas. Its water resistant, and will hold up to a light rain. This is padded on the sides and bottom, but the top panel is not. I guess thats not as big a deal, as you could place a blanket over the top. The handles are attached well, with reinforcements. The zipper is actually smooth, even around the corners. Theres a convenient pocket on the side. The bottom has thick rubber feet to keep the seat off the ground. Overall its protective, and I like that it keeps everything contained in one package.

I’m very happy it fits my Nuna Pipa Lite infant car seat (without base). I have used this car seat travel bag on 2 flights and the padding kept my car seat protected. Also, I like the extra pouch for easy carrying. Its a good bag for the price.

We recently took at trip with our Graco car seat. Our car seat can fit perfectly in it with little bit of effort. Without having the base in the bag, we can definitely put the car seat in the bag easily without any issue, but with the base also in the bag, it definitely took us a while to figure out the correct configuration in order for both base and car seat to fit in the bag. And after we managed to put both in the bag, we can definitely feel we stretched it to its max in order for both items to fit in it. We love the quality of the bag, it doesnt have cheap feelings like some of other bags we have for other baby items, and I think with the size of the bag, we often use it to hold other baby item while traveling, and we absolutely love it!

This bag fits our Nuna car seat and Relx base. Used as a checked bag without issue.
