> 24 hourFroze my tig cooler this spring on accident was still running distilled water and forgot to do the coolant. Had to solder a copper tube and reattach a line. Put this in just in time for another cold spell of about a week. No problems. Have about 40 hours of run time with it now no noticeable heat difference in torch head. Other brands are super expensive and dont do anything different that I could tell. Also cant find distilled water anywhere right now

> 24 hourMore well known brands ruin 4-6 times the price, so I figured this was worth a shot. I use this for my induction forge, which is a lot more constant temperature over larger surface area than wire welding. After 6ish hours of constant flat stock forging in a taco coil, the coolant was still fairly cool to the touch. When I run distilled water, Id get ~ 2 hours before it would become too hot and trigger the shutoff. Quite happy so far. It hasnt gotten cold enough to test the freezing temperatures of this yet, but Im going to stick a small bottle of the excess outside and will update the review accordingly. I expected some sort of noxious odor, but it is very subtle if there even is one. Only downside was the shipping. Ordered 7 in total. 2 of them came extremely well packaged, solid box, with filler, wrapped in plastic, with a seal on the cap. 2 came together loose in a generic amazon box, facing opposing directions, with the easy tear amazon tape, no plastic wrapping. Another pair came in a box that was wrecked, marked heavy, with the arrows facing so the jugs were upside down, and taped up haphazardly a few times it seems. And the last was plastic wrapped but in a loose generic taped amazon box with other items I ordered. All the jugs had secure tape seals, were robust enough plastic, and were fine to use, but the inconsistency of packaging and inclusions of other items that could have been ruined had their been a leak is concerning.
