I have been buying the calvin klein steel briefs for years. I love their soft feel, sheen, stretch, and general high quality that lasts. However my latest order of these is nothing like the old pairs. They are almost unwearable. They are a higher sheen material (which looks cool) but is much less stretchy, less breathable, and less soft. To be honest they are almost unwearable, especially due to the reduced breathability; I regret not returning them. I would sadly recommend NOT buying these and staying away until their manufacturing changes back to the old style, but I honestly doubt that will happen. After many satisfied years, I guess its time to find a new underwear brand.

These are really soft. I generally prefer 80%+ cotton in my boxer briefs, however, these were a deal of the day so I thought Id give them a shot and I really liked them. The fit was good and, again, these are super soft.

Overall: Calvin underwear has always performed well and had the most comfortable fit. These are no exception. Simply put: The sizing is way off. They run extremely small. I have worn Calvin Medium for years — I ordered Medium and it was no where close to my other Calvins. I re-ordered in Large. These fit, but still are very small for a Large. 4 stars: While sizing is way off. The key qualities you are looking for: The quality, comfort and durability is still the best you expect from Calvin underwear.

Fit is good. Softer than other brands geared more towards sports trunks. Wearing a couple of months now and no signs of wear and getting more comfortable with time. My only gripe is a vanity thing; I wish they said the brand around the entire waistband like the older style. If you bend over someone would immediately identify the brand of the original 90’s design.
