> 3 dayIve bought Calvin low-rise briefs before, these fit just like the original. The material is thinner, which I find cooler and will be nice during workouts. Never seen so many tags. I dont know why some seem surprised that there made outside of USA, since Calvin makes clothes in Italy, China and other countries. Nice and will buy again.

> 3 dayI used to wear Hanes but they stopped making a low rise brief. These fit well and I like the lower waist because it fits better with an expanded midsection (beer gut ;-) The only shortcoming is that the waistband still tends to roll when youre soft in the center. On the other hand, these are nice an light weight and other than the waistband, hold their shape well.

> 3 dayEver since I was a teen in the middle school lockers, I was afraid of being seen wearing briefs for dumb social fitting, therefore I made the switch to boxer briefs. I decided to give these a shot, after feeling the comfort and range of motion a nice set of briefs like these provide. I dont think I will ever go back to wearing anything else. The breathability is great, fit is nice, keeps your boys snug in place and sets a nice contour of your body.

> 3 dayIve been a fan of Calvin Klein underwear of several different varieties over the years, and while I like the 100% cotton construction of these, they seem subtly different from similar Calvin Klein briefs I bought a few years ago. The rise is definitely low, so I suppose thats truth in advertising, but I found them too low for optimum comfort. The other issue is the elastic around the leg openings is tight, too tight for me to sleep in in fact. Im a runner so tend to have muscular legs, so this may not be an issue for people with more slender legs, but I just found them uncomfortable after a couple of hours wear. The other annoyance is the ridiculous paper tag plumage in the waistband. Seriously, theres a whole wad of paper (either four or five pieces, I think) attached to the tag at the back. I cant verify what they all were for, because the first thing I did was cut them all out because theres no way anybody is going to wear them like that. If you have slender legs and like really low rise briefs, these are probably ideal once the tags are removed, but Im going back to other types.

09-11-2024The worst thing about some briefs is that they’re usually way too big and they come up too high. These are lower rise and don’t come up past your bellybutton. The cotton is soft and just right in terms of thickness. They did not shrink in the wash. The mediums fit perfectly. I’m a 32-34 inch waist depending on the manufacturer. In Gap jeans, I wear a 33 waist and the mediums fit great. There’s not too much fabric in the seat. The front is more than accommodating so it doesn’t strangle the gentleman’s area but it does offer some support. The color is fairly saturated and is a true black, which does not rub off onto skin. The elastic waist band is comfortable, just about perfect width. Wearing them to work out was the ultimate test: they didn’t bunch up or slip down and kept everything where it was supposed to stay. The weight of the cotton is just right making them cool and comfy even during an hour of cardio. I’ll back to buy more since these worked out so well.

> 3 dayI like the low-rise style of these briefs, though I wish there was more room in the basket! Also, these are 100% cotton, and I think this style of underwear demands more of a cotton/lycra blend. They didnt shrink through the washer/dryer, though the mediums I ordered feel a little small to me. By contrast, the CK boxer briefs I ordered in a medium WERE a cottton/lycra blend and fit like a dream! If I were to order these particular underwear again, I would order a large in order to get a medium fit. I like the functional fly, though the waistband is low enough to serve that purpose as well. A decent-enough product that could do with improved design and fabric construction.

> 3 dayThe other two upscale products I have tried in this price class stretch over time and have to be discarded. While I have been wearing the Calvin Klein mens cotton briefs only for a few months, so far I have noticed no deterioration.

06-11-2024This is a fine product that performs as expected. Why Calvin Klein felt compelled to attached a name tag on the waist band, rather than printing that information on the fabric, is beyond me. Fortunately, the tag is soft enough that it does not chafe.
