A little larger than I thought it would be, but love it.

My dwarf hamster adores this cactus hide. It is her favorite place to eat her treats. The removable top makes cleaning it out super easy, too. I bought the small size and its perfect for her.

Super cute, matches the water holder and the food bowl.

This adds such a cute touch to the cage! It also has the same vibe as my hamster’s cactus water bottle holder. Unfortunately, I don’t have a picture of him in it because he hides underground when it’s light out, but I know he uses it because the bedding is well padded down inside the cactus hut. I can tell he enjoys it at night, but would just rather be in complete darkness during the day. Also super easy to clean compared to porous pottery ceramics!!!

I found the hideout to be a great addition to my hamsters cage in terms and enrichment and aesthetics. However, I quickly found out when going to bed that it is certainly not quiet. When my hamster would climb it or even when she is using her wheel, I would hear the lid rattle. The first night, I had to eventually remove it from her cage, unfortunately. To solve this issue, I wrapped the bottom of the lid where it contacts the body with 3/4-inch masking tape and voila--no more rattle. Now, its the perfect hideout for my hamster, and she loves it. I hope this helps someone.

I loved the packaging since it was just so secure and my hamster fits perfectly ( I have a chubby teddy bear hamster) . Plus its so adorable

Freaking adorable!! So in preparation for my gerbils litter she was going to have (pups are 5 weeks old today), I got this and the water bottle holder with bottle. Both are adorbs!! I was HOPING WISHING PRAYING she would choose this for the nest but she didnt lol! Now they are all up in it! I love that the top comes off. Cute and functional! Added pic of some of the pups a couple weeks ago because... cayute! xx

My Syrian hamster loves this hide! I put sand in it. I’m also lucky because he’s made this his potty and it makes spot cleaning a breeze for me!
