Brother LC20EBK Super High Yield Black Ink Cartridge,

The one I just received did not come in the box and the printer keeps rejecting, even after we have tried some workarounds... It appears to be the right number, label, cartridge, but the printer cannot detect it after numerous tries and fixes. I am going to return it.

Ive had laser Jets with the large expensive ink replacements and Ive had smaller ink jets and well...lots of different printers but nothing is as easy and economical as this. The quality is not as crisp as the laser jets, but its very close and a fraction of the cost. The ink seems to last forever, but the low ink messaged seems to never stop...for me its not annoying enough to remove a star though....its just one more ok to click before it prints.

This is a good value. Good quality printouts, and each cartridge lasts for a long time. I will buy again even though cheaper compatibles are available.

I am astonished at the expensive price. I bought the Brother printer because it is supposed to be economical with the ink. The printer has a lot of warnings that it may start malfunctioning if you dont purchase the brand name ink. My last printer didnt get as many pages from its cartridges, but I saved a lot of money buying an off-brand ink cartridge. I am not happy with this situation, and I dont know what I am going to do.

Easy to install. Cost per page very reasonable!

Changed all four cartridges, but only the black seemed to be an actual new one. Set the printer to clean the heads half a dozen times, but it made no difference in the print quality of the “color” cartridges. The yellow was the worst with virtually no print lines. My fault that I failed to inspect the expiration dates on the boxes when received. I did use them immediately upon receiving the order so that I could print Christmas labels.
