I purchased two sets of these lights for my new Christmas tree. At first I was in love, but after 1 week im having an issue with one strand of lights. See pics, first one is lights in off position but still plugged in. One light on the stand stays on. The other pics are showing that same single light only displaying the color red no matter what mode or color I set them to. Im not going to go thru the trouble of taking apart my tree to return a set for replacement right now, but I might after Christmas. Disappointing.

Lights are very pretty but the remote stopped working after a month of use. There was no trouble shooting for the remote for this item.

The lights are awesome and bright. Several modes and colors. I purchased several boxes for indoors and outdoors. I purchased covers to keep the usb plugs dry outdoors. The description stated that they could be used that way. First rain and none worked outdoors. Some flashed and jittered, but were unresponsive to the remote except the off button. They eventually started working when they dried, but some single leds were stuck on on one color or another. I had to take them all down and replace them with regular lights. If youre planning on buying them for outdoors, you should probably consider rope lights. For indoors, they do not stay in sync when turned on at the same time. I used two strands on my tree because one wasnt long enough and the different modes do not keep the same timing between strands. I give them a three because they are misrepresented as indoor/outdoor. Theyre definitely not weatherproof and dont work at all if the strand gets rained on.

After I finally figured out to point the remote to the plug and not the lights it was great. I love the variety of colors to choose from and these lovely lights add ambiance to a dark corner.

They are nice enough. The wire is very visible on the tree, especially when the tree is unlit. The colors are not quite right. White is very blue tinted, yellow is greenish, purple is very pale while most of the other colors are vivid. The remote works very well, and if you use multiple strings the remote is compatible. Each individual string requires to be plugged they do not connect.
