I didnt get a remote. I ordered 2 boxes and no remote in either one. Other than that the lights work, easy install, and bright.

Overall these are fantastic lights! They do exactly what they described even if a couple colors (mainly yellows) arent as vibrant as I expected The real confusion comes on the color settings. There are a *lot* of options that you can only access by cycling through one at a time with the next button. Not awful, but very annoying after awhile. If you want these for the settings, they might not be the best. If you want them for just solid colors and a few presets, Id 100% recommend them!

I bought this as a party decoration to wind down a staircase, and it definitely did the trick. Now Ive set it up around the walls of my bedroom, and it is delightful. There are many color options and 8 brightness levels (fantastic). And there are several modes where the lights will blink/change color/move that are fun. There are also a few multi color options like red and green for christmas, and red/white/blue for the fourth. My only gripe is that the remote doesnt seem to have much range and needs a direct line to work, ie, you cant hide the receiver behind something and still have the remote reach it. Overall, love it. The colors are lovely and soft and it brightens up my room nicely :)

EDIT: I figured it out. It actually was my TV remote (LG TV remote). Any time I turn my TV on or off, it changes the color mode on the lights. Not sure how Im going to resolve this, but at least I know the cause now. Changed my review from 2 to 3 stars, because this is still a very annoying obstacle to overcome, but probably wont be a problem for everyone. ------ I wanted to love these, but I cant figure out why it wont stay on the color I selected. If I choose a solid color, it will stay that way for a little while, maybe even an hour or two -- but then it eventually changes to one of the other animated color-changing modes, even though nobody has touched the remote. It drives me absolutely insane. We dont have a Roku remote or anything else that might be interfering. Whats the point of selecting a color or holiday mode, only to have it change to something else every hour or so?! Very frustrating. Ive tried pressing pause but it doesnt help.

The colors are great, long set of lights. Only issue I am having is they’re so tangled I don’t know if I can’t get them UNTANGLED. Since the wire is thin and pliable they’re just sticking to each other. So before unraveling be prepared!

Decided to buy another Christmas tree, dont ask how many I have because I think I may have a mental illness when it comes to Christmas....Anyway, I chose this set of lights solely based on the premise they would not only give me the option of white lights but also single color and multi color within the same string of lights!!!! You heard me right, many, many options to choose from with only one little wire strand. Now, the wire strand is no ordinary wire strand these consist of three flexible wires running from one light to the other. Ive collected many antique glass ornaments so Im going for a minimal more natural looking tree without glaring sliver wires. Some reviewers mention they had issues with the wires tangling or kinking but I didnt and Im very careful to hide the wires within each separate branch. Im fairly confident that I come close to being a professional Christmas tree decorator!!! LOL Ive purchased and wound so many types of light strings that I would be ashamed to count. I own several tubs full of twinkle lights and various other types. This particular set of fairy lights emit a rather bold and definite glow because the bulbs are much larger than any Ive ever owned.. I havent played with the remote yet but understand both the brightness and blinking speed can be modified. My latest tree was purchased from a fancy Christmas store during their after Christmas sale so once it arrived I inspected it and wondered how many lights I would need so I ordered one set of these to see how far they would go and how many sets I would ultimately need. After they arrived I started the tedious chore of winding the stand around each branch which completely filled six. I stepped back and after a few minutes decided that I would not need to purchase as many due to the fact that even though these are fairy lights the larger bulb size means that I would not need to place them as close together as with others. I am going to get by with using six total sets which is great news. But, I will need to redistribute the one strand Ive already placed but......... it has to be perfect!!!!!! I cant express how pleased I am with the result thus far and imagine I will faint in delight once the entire tree is up and lit! My tree is 7.5 feet tall and around 40 in diameter and will have approximately 1200 lights...that is if I end up needing that many. If you are looking for fairy lights with more options/functions than you could EVER imagine this is the set you have to buy. Order one set and you will agree with me that this will be the last time you will ever search for the PERFECT set of Christmas lights. Im beyond impressed

I have a tree up year round that I decorate for different holidays. I always dreaded changing out the strands of lights because its a pain to keep them untangled and get back in box. These lights have so many color options I dont have to switch out strands anymore. The remote has preset multi color options that work for each holiday as well as lots of options for single color.

I spent a few hours painstakingly putting these on my bedroom wall which meant dropping them on the floor about 15 times. They still work I love the size of the bulbs on the wires since LEDs strips are ugly to me. The only downsides to them are 1. The button does not remember what was last used. Only the remote. 2. For some reason I thought these lights would have colors AND modes for the colors you pick. They only have preset colors for the animations which is a big bummer. Otherwise, they are flexible, beautiful, and have a great range of brightness

Want to add other types of lights to my tree this year; saw these fairy lights and thought I’d give them a try. They are so mesmerizing and colorful. I can hardly wait to use them in various functions with my white lighted tree.
