Brighton

The acting was great. Some of the dialogue was very clever especially between the older couples. Just too much swearing and that doesn’t happen as frequently in the pubs and clubs around Brighton. I was watching this thinking this place doesn’t look like Brighton. Shots of the pier were the only indication that some of the filming was done in Brighton but pretty sure it was filmed mainly in Hastings. No matter what they say Hastings ain’t no Brighton. Missed the target I’m afraid. Two stars for the acting.

Quit watching after about 20 minutes. Couldnt handle the bad language and prejudice. Every sentence had to have the F word in it and a gay joke. There was no plot to the movie. Great cast was wasted in this piece of garbage.

The politically correct message destroys some good acting and a cute story. Conservative people are backwards and bigoted is the usual message.

Two senior couples visit Brighton together and remember their younger days as they bump up against change. Well cast and I enjoyed the humor. I usually hate happy endings but this one pulled it of.
