These are perfect if you are looking for a more permanent install of the 1 ball mounts - these are not the cheap plastic like the others Ive attempted to use - they are solid aluminum and should last longer than all my other ones combined. Couldnt be happier.

These are straight forward and worked as expected. They are well made with a clean finish while being rugged and durable. was impressed with the strength and quality when I received them.

These diamond base 1 ball mounts are heavy duty solid aluminum and the ball is overmolded with a plastic coating. The base is anodized in a glossy black. The base measures 1 wide, and 2.4 in length with mounting holes 1.9 on center. These mounts are 100% compatible with RAM MOUNTS 1 ball products.

Awesome materials that are sturdy and won’t snap off like my old mounts did. These work great for a 1” accessory and make all the difference compared to cheap plastic.

This fitting is used with other fittings to create a mount for a camera, phone, or other item. It is made of some kind of plastic and is strong enough for its intended use, which is to be part of a mounting system for a fairly light object like a phone, camera or item of similar weight. They make mounts for tubes like handle bars, so this expands the mounting possibilities to flat surfaces as well. It is a versatile mounting system when you have to be able to adjust for odd angles and placements.

Used these to mount some phones to my truck along with the BRCOVAN composite arm and this combo works great. The ball is TPU (hard plastic) and are the only weak point of this mount but is still a sturdy product and it holds up well. I like that this is RAM compatible and it just an overall great product.

If you have any 1 ball type of mounting system, this is what you should get to add to whatever else you want to mount on your boat, kayak, car, plane, motorcycle, moped, etc. Its easily mounted using screws or a nut/bolt system. I highly recommend using stainless though if its going to be mounted on the exterior being exposed to the elements. Other than that, it does have a textured feel on the ball so it has a good grip to it from the clamping side of your mount. It has some good weight to it but its a ballistic type of plastic that could take some impact to it. Its a great base 1 ball to have.
