The product description clearly states this is a metal stapler, however, that is only partially true. The gold top handle is metal and the gold base is plastic. I wish these companies would just be honest about their products, it is a waste of time for everyone when items have to be returned.

This bright red stapler looked wonderful - but it is a total piece of …. (you fill in the expletive). I loaded staples in - and .., nothing. The thing would not work. Couldn’t push down on it. The stapler was frozen in place!!! Reloaded and tried again. It still would not staple anything. Do not waste your money on this junk. It’s just a pretty paper weight. I tried contacting Bostitch. I held on for ages hoping to speak to a human. After an hour I decided to leave customer service a message. The recording promised they would give me a call back. I left a detailed message and my phone number. However no one ever contacted me!!! So after a couple more days I called Amazon who give me my money back and told me to toss the Bostitch in the trash. I have since bought another brand of stapler that works really well

I love my new gold stapler. It is very sturdy with some weight to it. The only thing is that it did come with a few scratches on the sides, but its just going to sit on my desk all day so I dont mind much.

I wanted to re-do my office decor and knew I wanted it to have some gold tones and this stapler was “THAT PIECE” that I coordinated my entire office around! It has a nice gold color to it… not to brassy or fake gold looking. Just a nice yellow tone. Love it!

Works fine but it would be extremely helpful if it had an adjustable head so the punched documents aligned properly in binders

Dude, you wouldnt love a gold stapler? I used to have a plain black one in my office. People would steal it. So I got myself one of these GOLD bad boys. Aint nobody stealing from me now because its hard to conceal a gold stapler in your work area. It also makes me feel luxurious and like I am better than everyone else who only has a black or grey stapler. If you are considering a new stapler, get this gold one! You will not be disappointed.

Purchased this mostly for decorative purposes. Was very pleased that it looked exactly as pictured.

I like the sturdiness of this stapler. Great for using on bulletin boards.
