I love the long batterie

I gave it 3 stars because even though the noise cancelling feature is great on these, the slightest movement affects the sound in the headphones so you can hardly hear anything. If you even sit in a vehicle that goes over a speedbump or makes a sharp turn, thats enough to make the sound quality unstable. For the price of these headphones I never though they would be this fragile.

I love my old wired Bose noise cancelling headset and have wanted to get the bluetooth version. I was very excited about the Prime Days price, so I ordered the QC45 and it arrived yesterday. However, it immediately started cutting out. Briefly, but cutting out nonetheless. I tried various steps Bose recommend: I checked for a firmware update. I cleared this list of bluetooth sources from the headset. I completed a factory reset. I removed the headset from the Bose Music app. Nothing worked. I had my wife connect to her phone and it cut out for her, same as for me.

It is so odd how these start to make squeaking noises where the plastic parts rub together. Its like a creaking sound when you move your head at all. To be fair, I put these things through some tough ordeals; I wore them during ten mile runs. Overall I have been pretty satisfied with them. It is no nice to walk outside and the week wacker guy and the engine revving fool in the parking lot cant knock you out of your shoes since they act like ear protection. Wish there was a way to keep them on at night while sleeping, but that isnt their fault because they arent designed for that.

Great headphones

I am hearing impaired, and cant hear upper tones. I am not deaf. I really havent listened to music in some time as I couldnt hear it. I put a pair of these on in the store - and I literally started to cry. The nuances of the music that I had not heard in YEARS!!!. It was unbelievable. And then to home - tried earbuds, but if mowing the lawn, buds dont cancel out noise, and you cant hear the music. With the Boze Quiet Comfort, I heard every note, and if it werent for the vibration of the mower, I wouldnt have known it was on. Sounds amazing, and they are my number one choice. I listened to other top-end headsets. But either they were obnoxious basey. Or they didnt cancel the noise out. Imagine a quiet airplane trip. A music-filled day. And they recharge incredibly fast with long battery life too.
