I ship a variety of packages and I used this to seal some boxes today and it works fine for sealing the box. It adheres to cardboard well and provides a solid bond. The tape came off the roll easily and cut smoothly on the dispenser. This tape is a thinner duty tape more ideal for sealing lighter packages. I would not rely on this tape for sealing heavy packages, you might want to use a bit more heavy duty packing tape for that.

Typically Id say- well what can I say - its tape, does what its intended to do, but in this case its exaclty what I never knew I needed. I recycle my amazon boxes and when I remove the amazon tape theres a gap when the box is taped. With clear tape you can see right into the box and thats just weird, this is the perfect solution to be able to reuse the boxes for shipping and the brown tape matches the boxes and covers the opening perfectly. The tape is also nice and strong and sticks well, I will be buying more. Only downside was it took a LONG time to arrive, hoping thats not an all the time thing.

This is a nice two pack of packing tape with the disposable dispenser and cutting blade. We ship packages to the kids and grandkids so having this tape around is a must. So far so good.

These rolls came with a lot of tape on each, huge plus! But unfortunately the tape is not super sticky. I wouldn’t feel confident about using this tape for shipping. But for everyday use, it would be a ok.

Dont look at how thin it is, in fact it is very long, and it can help me pack things well and move them to other places. The operation is very quiet, and you are not afraid of affecting others when you work at night. Then it is a roll, but it can help me complete the packing of more than 30 boxes, which is really powerful and reassuring.

This tape is good and strong. It’s easy to cut with the included handle. I’m sure it’s great for taping up boxes, but not really good for attaching shipping labels. It’s not translucent so it blocks the barcodes and addresses. I will use it to seal my boxes and envelopes, but I’ll still have to have a 2nd tape to attach my labels. I knew it was brown when I ordered it, but I was hoping it was translucent like my other colored tapes. It’s my fault, I got exactly what I ordered. It’s exactly as described:)

This tape dispenser is fast and convenient. The tape holds very well to itself and most packages, but is not super sticky, so using a couple of extra pieces worked well for the heavy boxes too. I liked being able to get big shopping club prices, without having to buy 12 rolls of tape that would take me 6-8 years to use.

As other reviewers have noted, this isnt the stickiest tape ever. It definitely applies quietly as advertised. Although the adhesion isnt the best, its still good enough for fastening storage boxes. I did use it for shipping, but applied several strips overlapping. By using more I was able to get the security I expected.

Using this in my law office for storage. The tape itself is lightweight and not super sticky so would therefore be inadvisable for heavy shipping needs. Quiet as advertised.

Have you ever been in a small office or room where somebody has to box up a bunch of stuff and theres an incessant ZZZZRRRRRRRRIIIIIIP! of the packing tape? Well, this goes a long way to solving that with a nearly silent tape experience. I thought maybe they were overselling how quiet it was, but it really doesnt make much noise. Fortunately, it seems to be just as sticky as the loud tape youre used to. The tape is moderately thin, which I find nice for taping around corners, as it folds over on itself better. The current price of just under $14 for two 110 yard rolls is about what regular noisy tape runs, so I think its a good value.
