Wish I’d paid a little more and gotten 3M tape. This tape sticks well but has an unpleasant, strong chemical smell, is too thin and “splinters off”—instead of a full-width piece, I usually end up with a partial, sliver of a piece. There are worse problems to have (cancer! homelessness! assorted venereal diseases!) but this is my tape truth.

It holds but is thin and has a funny smell. It does its job.

I run a business in which I frequently use tape for shipping so use the Duck handheld taping dispensers. These rolls fit perfectly in my Duck accessories but the tape itself is AWFUL. See pictures, words arent necessary.

I really depend on a good, thick, and secure clear packing tape for around the house. Some of the prices at our local stores are through the roof. Generic tape tends to be really thin and doesnt stick well at all. Then we tried this tape. Its excellent!!! You would have thought it was a high quality name brand by the way it sticks. Im a fan.

Too thin and very weak adhesive. I should have spent few more dollars to get a stinger tape. I have to use double or triple the amount to tape up a box.

While the tape works well and it’s just for packing moving boxes …. The smell is simply AWFUL! Whew. Can’t wait to finish this job!

This packing tape is a decent value if youre not planning on sealing a moving box over 10 lbs. For heavier moving boxes, it easily loses its adhesiveness when you go to pick up box requiring you to use more tape than should be necessary. And be aware... if you let the end of the roll where you just cut it get stuck to the rest of the roll, forget finding the end of the roll. It becomes very adhesive then and you end up throwing the rest of the roll away...wasteful.

We have been packing up moving boxes for a few weeks and have been using scotch heavy duty tape. Seeing the amount of tape we were going through, I ordered some of this tape to get ahead of our consumption. I was nervous when I first felt it as it’s noticeably thinner than the scotch tape. My worries were for not. This tape sticks so much better to boxes. It also runs through and cuts on the tape roller like a dream. I thought that it was something that I was doing wrong, but it turns out that it was the name brand tape.
