Greater than one weekI caught this one on a lightning deal (the wrap with buckles) Im a longtime babywearer and I was looking for something in the middle of a wrap and a soft structured carrier. Its easy and quick to put on! The adjustments are a little bit of a learning curve and you have to be gentle with them. If you pull too hard, I can imagine the webbing would rip from the wrap part. My newborn fell right to sleep in it! It can be challenging to get the straps up over your shoulders with out twisting them. There are also two fabric loops (with the boba label, as you can see in the photos) that fall off easily when the wrap is unbuckled. I can see those getting frustrating to keep track of, and I might end up taking them off before I lose them. I dont feel theyre terribly necessary. I like that this is wrap-like without the extra long material. I dont think it would be a great choice for an older baby, say over six months. I find it okay to nurse in.

> 3 dayVery long. Works great but there is a lot of material that my wife has to tie up or tuck in.

Greater than one weekIf I could give this a higher rating, I would. It is an EXCELLENT product. I had my son a few weeks early and was not prepared. At all. Everything I was going to get done before his birth was thrown into the mix of diaper changes, feedings, and settling into a sleep routine. This wrap gave me exactly what I needed: A content baby, close to my heart, hands-free. Upon arrival, I laughed at the wrap. It was one long piece of stretchy fabric that I paid $40 for. I was mad. But I read the directions, hoping to get something for the money I begged my husband to invest. After you learn the knots, it is exactly what it claims to be. And tying it was easy. I only had to read how to do it once. The guide was very clear to read and my little guy loves it. My son would rather sleep in it than in the $150 swing that my in-laws got us. It is the only thing that calms him down. And he is a little on the colicky side. Best investment ever.

09-11-2024The wrap is soft, and pretty... but the smell is so putrid that it made me nauseous within 5 minutes of wear. Theres no way I will put my baby in this. The fit is also not that great. Im 52 115lbs and its not secure.

> 3 dayHad the Boba wrap for a couple of days now - first and only wrap or sling Ive tried. Firstly, there is ALOT of fabric to this wrap when youre wrangling it around yourself, but it works just fine if you watch the YouTube vid on how to wrap it. Dont be intimidated by the fabric. Also have to make sure you wrap this pretty tight around yourself to start with, or your baby will ride too low. Our kiddo is 6.5 weeks, 12 lbs, 24 long - a big boy. He fits very well in this wrap, and I find its fairly comfortable to wear. It has really freed up my hands - hes sitting in the Boba right now while Im typing, which is great! I have noticed, however, that the baby gets a bit warm in this wrap - it is about 2-3 layers that cover him. Ive taken to putting him in the wrap with just a diaper on or just a very light t-shirt halfsie. My reason for the 4 star is mainly because the baby runs warm in it, and that limits using this wrap outside in warmer weather. I also wish this wrap could be used in a face-forward position for the baby so that he could look around more. But I really do enjoy having him pressed right against me as I sit and work at my desk, buzz around the kitchen and house, etc.

> 3 dayIt is NOT as easy as it looks on Youtube and in the product manual. Takes some practice. Just an FYI, if you are in Texas or another sounthern state where it gets pretty darn hot, you will be MISERABLE in this and so will your baby. I recommend something way lighter unless it is cool outside. I wish I had saved my money and gotten something else.

> 3 dayI had to return this carrier. It’s not easy to put on by yourself, in my opinion. It didn’t have great support with my lower back either. I found my lower back in pain, little one is only 10lbs too. Only positive was that the material is soft.
