BOB KIDS Brush On Mineral Powder Sunscreen Broad Spectrum, Easy to Apply for Kids and Babies, SPF 30

Thought this was a neat idea so splurged on the expensive. Thought it would better as sunscreen to keep in the diaper and go bag with less risk then liquid. I was WRONG. First trip and Im so glad I put it in a plastic bag. Lid popped off and you can picture where the expensive powder went.

I applied it multiple times to both my kids and they are both sunburnt. In the future I may use for reapplications but not initially.

I needed to find something for my seven year old son to apply (and reapply) at his sporting events. He hates liquid sunscreen and also hates the sunscreen sticks. He happily applies it and reapplies without being reminded. We haven’t had even the slightest sunburn.

At first use, the powder did not come out at all and I gave up to use it on the day. That already gave me a bad impression. I left it upside down for a few days in my bag and it finally started coming out. Then, I found that it is not easy to see how much powder is actually coming out or not. The color of brush being purple, it is not easy to tell. The feel of the brush on my face is soft, which was the only a good point. I would go back to another product next time as I need the one that does the job, sun protection.

This is completely useless bc there is no way to tell if it is coming out and if it is, how much. You’re taking a serious risk depending on this for your kid’s sun protection. I bought it bc I thought the kids would be less insane about me putting it on them. In the end, you have to like pat/slam the brush so hard to get anything to come out, they hate it even more than regular sunscreen. I’m sad I missed the return date for this one.

After reading the reviews that said people had trouble getting this to work I thought they were just using it wrong. I bought it anyway and boy was I wrong. I cannot get this to work at all! I’ve read the directions and twisted to the right, pushed the blue cover down, then tipped the brush pointed down, shook it and pounced the brush. Nothing comes out! When I twist the blue cover left and pull it back up, I can see the powder on the outside of the blue cover but nothing on the brush. I did this several times and still nothing. I’m going to return it. Do not waste your money on this product!!!

Fabulous product. Works great and I have no problem seeing the powder application.

It makes putting sunscreen on my sons face a breeze. He absolutely hates normal sunscreen in his face and will not let me put it on him at all. I can easily put this in him and he can even help put it on himself. It held up to this years crazy Texas heat and the pool.
