Our rat chewed through part of this, got her face stuck, suffocated and died in this hammock. :(

I bought these in a 2-pack, and they came in great condition. What’s best is that my little rat children love them! They’re on the small side, but because you get a 2 pack for a reasonable price I think it’s worth it. Both of my rats are able to fit in one or sit in their own.

It didn’t last very long at all. It wasn’t chewed at all, the hook snapped whilst my rat was sitting on it! After thinking it might be a fluke, the same thing happened with the second one. No chew marks, only very very sensitive snapped metal. It’s a waste of money given it only lasted with gentle use for 1 week and 2 weeks respectively. It’s also very hard to clean if they “go” inside of it. Even in a washer, the poops remain stuck. Another thing! Please do NOT get these for your Guinea Pigs! Their backs can NOT HANDLE A HAMMOCK! Especially one like this! I have piggies as well and it broke my heart that these are being advertised for them. You’re better off making your own hammocks if you can sew, or buying them from another site. Maybe support a small business that makes them specifically for your animal!

I was worried my Guinea pigs wouldn’t like to get into something that’s slightly off the ground of their cage, but they loved it! They were climbing into it instantly and popcorning while lying inside of it. Absolutely worth the purchase! They’re also quite easy to clean, not difficult at all. Just shake them out and throw them in the washer, it’s as simple as that.

Item was described to be 12x12. Its not. Its closer to 10x10 and MUCH smaller than advertised. Maybe a good size for a baby guinea pig, but not a grown one as is shown. I pictured it next to a hammock that is 13x13 for reference. The one I bought here is like half the size it should be. Otherwise, the material is nice and its nicely put together. Im just disappointed in the falsely advertised size (and yes I looked for size options. There are none, just color options)

These worked for a good week until they got broken in, then the corners tore off from the frantic to the clip so I had to see it back on. Your better just buying a piece of fabric and making one yourself.

The guinea pigs loved them. They sleep in them every night!! Very soft.
