Product goes on, and stays white. Also, as others have mentioned, the size is 1/2 of an ounce. It is NOT 5 ounces.

I love this brand of sunscreen, but I laughed out loud when I opened the package and saw how small the stick is. Here’s a photo of it next to my Apple TV remote and a gift card. I’m guessing I’ll get only a few uses out of it between my two kids. Wish they would made this in a bigger size. I don’t think I’ll buy it a second time.

Worked really well as a sunscreen. Lasted a long time on our faces. Only applied in the morning at home and then mid-day at the beach. No one got a sunburn at all. It did however make our faces breakout (zits). No rashes just breakouts. A week after use they all cleared up, but it will clog your pores. Make sure you wash your face several times (I did, but still). Would use it in the future.

The picture when purchasing gives the impression that the stick is about the size of a stick of deodorant. However, this is much smaller. I will get very few uses as one use seemed to use up 25%. I have seen other sticks from other brands that give much more for less or same money.

Love that this is so easy for granddaughter to apply & reapply & keeps her from burning. Her skin is sensitive to most sunscreens but this works great & no rash.

My kids hate the sunscreen sticks because there are usually tiny little granules in the ones we have used in the past (Sunbum, etc) and it hurts to spread it. This one is nice and smooth and blends easily into their skin. It does a good job of preventing sunburn as well on their faces.

I put this in my fishing bag. It doesnt take up much room. Its great for when the weatherman says cloudy but he was wrong.

So convenient and easy to use!

This breaks apart as youre trying to apply. I tried returning the item but Amazon wont take the return and told me to contact customer support. The phone number listed for the company is invalid so now I have an unusable product. Do not recommend buying unless you want pieces of sunblock to break apart and fall all over. Unfortunately a waste of money.

I understand there are drastic differences between sunscreen that is harmful vs. this sunscreen which is neutral to people and the environment. It IS good stuff. It just doesn’t really rub in and leaves a white paste.
