BlenderBottle Classic Loop Top Shaker Bottle, 20-Ounce, Red/Red

I literally bought this bottle to replace one that I had purchased the previous year and then misplaced. I love this bottle. The size is perfect, I like the blender ball that helps keep whats inside broken up or mixed up, depending. Of course, within two weeks of purchasing this bottle, I found the original which was in purple. So now I have two bottles and dont have to rush quite so much to wash only one each day so I can use it.

I have been looking for a shaker that does the job, that mixes my protein shakes and does not leak. This shaker does the job and doe not cost a small fortune. If you want a good shaker this one did it for me.

I found that it tends to leak a small amount when shaking unless you screw the lid on VERY tightly. It is fairly easy to clean but I don’t have a dishwasher and I find that it’s hard to clean some of the small spaces when washing by hand. These issues are more of an inconvenience than anything. Overall it is a solid product.

Wow, do I love this cup. I never imagined that a shaker bottle could blend protein powder in almost as well as a blender, but this one fits the bill! I love how I can quickly shake my protein powder and almond milk and drink directly out of the shaker, or even take it with me. I dont use my blender for protein shakes anymore. This product is easy and effective. The lid and snap close tightly with no leaks, and all the parts are easy to clean. I love these! Solid little cups, perfect size, and the blender ball really helps. Make sure you have the top all the way on before shaking! Sounds obvious, but make sure you hear the cover click. Sometimes its hard to close, but if I push on one side and sort of roll your palm across to the other side, I can get it every time. I use these for protein shakes (cashew milk + Lean 1), and my husband uses them for his energy drinks (caffeinated powder + water).

I purchased this product because my previous BlenderBottles lid form Walmart split. This is the 2nd BlenderBottle whose lid has cracked making it useless to me. I think that they should sell replacement lids. Im going to go ahead and chalk up the cracking lids to excessive washing in the dish washer. (high heat mixed with chemicals then cooling off and being wrenched on my bottle too hard) Im going to do a little experiment and not wash this one in the dish washer. If I get another cracked lid in less than six months as happened before this review is going to be downgraded real fast. The lids should not be cracking on these every six months or less. I already threw away the old lids so I cannot provide a picture, but it cracked right where the lid makes an angle to start making a dome shape. When the shaker doesnt have a cracked lid it works great for fine powder and water mixtures. Its terrible for protein powders as they are usually clumpy and the little metal ball really doesnt mix it up well enough. I usually use an electric blender stick to mix protein powder up. Im not going to recommend this to you until its lasted me a year or more. If I update this before then youll know its because it cracked on me again. I do like how these come in a variety of colors.

Love this little guy, I mix three different portions water and juice in it , so it holds a three well even though its not super big, it fits in my cup holder nice too.

Why are these bottles SO hard to close and open? I thought over time that it would loosen up a bit…but no. I have to lean my weight over the top while it is on the counter until it clicks. After shaking it, I then struggle to pry the cap off. It’s very frustrating! It washes up well and clearly is durable but the cap can be a deal breaker!

I ordered the frosted white expecting the color to turn out like the picture but its not even close to any blueish tint its just plain white.
