Greater than one weekLike I said, it sucks (just great). Seems to be best bang for the buck. Given as an apartment warming gift. Recipient really cleaned up. (And loves it). Easy to use and easy to empty. Washable filter, and auto-retractable cord. Came with extra cleaning tool attachments. Does hard floors and has 3 carpet height adjustments. Would recommend.

> 3 dayThis vacuum cleaner was the best price for checking all my boxes!! It doesn’t have the swivel head - it’s sturdy and doesn’t have a mind of its own going in all directions, it has the button to suck in the cord when you’re done, love, it has an XL tank and it is XL, I have 8 birds that make quite a mess in & outside of their cage. My old vacuum I’d have to empty the tank 4-5x just to get thru their mess after a couple weeks. This tank held on thru 97% of the mess. I emptied it bc I didn’t want to push it since it’s new. But it’s great. It also has I think 3 diff filters which were all easy to get to & clean. The hose w the attachment isn’t stiff it’s nice and bendy so it makes using the hose attachment actually a pleasant experience. It also reaches so far!! Perfect for reach underneath my aviary bc it’s heavy and hard to move even with the help of another person. And it was easy enough to put together when I opened the box, for me, even without the directions!! Great purchase for me. =] Thank you Bissell, you never disappoint me.

> 3 dayI shopped very carefully for an inexpensive vacuum. I had a Kirby for years. It was not bad, but way too heavy and difficult to use. The Shark that I had for the last year and a half was lighter, and I thought it was doing a decent job, along with the Inse cordless for small spaces and quick pick ups. The Shark gave out on me and so after reading dozens of reviews for several different vacuums, and not finding any consistent reviews to provide confidence, I finally chose this Bissell Cleanview, even though the reviews were still “iffy”. It’s super light and It looks kind of cheap so I was prepared to be disappointed. I was truly shocked to see the load of dirt that my other vacuums were not picking up!! I took a picture of the container on the vacuum after I had vacuumed just the living room, to send to my daughter, who knows how hard I work to keep a clean house. I considered posting it on here but honestly, I’m embarrassed because it was a LOT of dirt! I’m disgusted that I’ve been wasting my time, thinking I had a clean carpet, and finding out that it was filthy! I’ve been using the Bissell for a month now, and I see such a difference in my carpet…a difference I didn’t even realize was needed. I love my vacuum! As far as I’m concerned, if this breaks down in a year I will have got my money’s worth, and yes, I would buy another one!! Ps This was not a new home. I vacuumed carefully before I moved in, but apparently did not remove the dirt from previous tenant. UPDATE June 27, 2023 I love my vacuum!!

> 3 dayI had a Waze cordless vacuum that lasted about a month. Got this today and immediately used it and wow it has great suction and many settings depending on hard floors or carpet and how thick your carpet is. The only downfall is it is heavy when pulling back but I see it as a work out so it’s a win win for me but may not be for everyone

> 3 dayTechnically I give this a C+average rating: wish manufacturers would design vacuums to work on all carpets & hard surfaces. The- home I just bought has newer probably 5/8 inch plush carpet, which even on top height settings is very difficult to push/maneuver. It has a solid floor setting for supposedly cleaning hard floors - but the roller spits most of particles out, so not that good on solid surfaces without actual floor attachments, which —Only had 2 attachments, very small crevice tool & some hokey “tool” not sure of its purpose? Soooo, I ordered a set of ACTUAL attachments & additional “wands” so it worked like floor vacuums used to & should function! Now I’m happy. It’s got plenty of power. I’m spoiled I guess, my previous home (we never should have sold & moved from) had central vac. I’m considering installing that in this older home. The roller does seem to not wrap hair etc around roller, so far I’m happy with that. Only used a few times. If you buy this— buy separate attachments which I had to search for & order from another seller. This is problem with todays vacuums - most really don’t work without extra parts/attachments. I do like how easy it is to empty the dirt from unit.

> 3 dayVacuum began to smoke and then stopped working. Amazon told me I could return the substandard merchandise but there was a $20 restocking fee and I had to get a box to repack it. I did not accept. I contacted bissel who wanted me to take to a repair shop. Also unacceptable considering the vacuum is brand new. If neither makes this right I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, consumer products, and the PA Attorney General. The principle of this issue is they cannot sell substandard merchandise that breaks in a short time and then expect for me to take all costs associated with the problem. This is definitely a way to scam the consumer.

> 3 dayHappy about the electric cord that is 25ft, so you can move around, just wish that the cord was higher on the handle where you move the vac around. It gets in your feet when vacuuming and in the way, did pick up the dog hair, and dirt, but it was just now first day, wish the cord was connected in a different place, you loose about 6ft when trying to hold it.
