I have a long haired cat that kitty litter gets stuck in the fur on her feet and she tracks it out all over the carpet. This works GREAT for vacuuming that litter up. Not so great for hair, but I have another one for that .....I do like this and bought another one

As of November, 2015, this still works perfectly. My biggest complaint at this point is that when I use the hose attachment, the hose is rather stiff, and if you turn the hose a certain way, it makes the whole hand-vac tumble over. I purchased this to replace our previous one that I burned out the motor on. So far, this has done a better job than our previous hand-vac, and the previous one did a good job. We have two cats, one of them being a long-haired cat, and this hand-vac gets the cat hair off the carpet much better. The vacuum comes with several attachments. The standard attachment has rubber nubs on the end and does a good job at picking up the cat hair. There is also a little hose attachment and a piece that attaches to that with a velvety material that does a great job at gathering hair from furniture. In addition, there is also a crevice tool to get into corners well, and works very well on stairs. The hand-vac is a bit noisy, but it gets the job done. I also see why people have complained about the air rushing out the side of the vacuum. You have to be strategic about where you aim the side of the hand-vac, or you may end up blowing all your dust and pet hair around the room while you are trying to pick it up. That being said, it is not difficult to manage that. I do find the handle to be a bit more awkward to hold than our old hand-vac, but not a big con.

I am a review reader and was concerned about a few conflicting reviews on suction, also the outflow air blowing everything away before you could vacuum it up. I am not really having the same issues. I am using this in a fifth wheel to keep things from going south between trips home. I love it for this use. Our floors are half wood, half carpet and this does the job. The suction is very very strong. The attachments do all of the basics quite well. The only place it cannot reach is to the back of the rear couch, because nothing can really reach behind it. The cord is plenty long but I have outlets all over, so. But I don’t need to switch outlets except to change rooms. The outflow air is definitely strong like the suction. And sure, they could have changed the design with slanted louvres, or something to that effect. But being a bit mindful of which way I hold it seems to do the trick, and I haven’t had much problem with it, if any. The molded attachments seem sturdy, although the nose cup clips on with not too much of a “clip” which makes me think that too many ons and offs when emptying the debris cup will eventually wear away the “clip”. But not something I know yet so I’m just enjoying it. The vacuum so far is pretty much exactly what I wanted it to be.

Goodness, I purchased this for one reason and one reason alone; to hope beyond hope that I might be able to have a sofa that doesnt look like yeti. The rubberized end and suction makes it very easy to quickly and easily remove the inches of cat from my sofa each week. I can see where some reviewers were having problems with the vents, they do get quite warm. Additionally the tank is just a little small for my taste, and can get stringy items easily caught in it. But where-in I need it to remove cat hair from the sofa, it is a solid five stars.

I bought this to use indoors and also to clean my car. I wanted a corded vacuum for maximum power and also to be able to use in my house. The car vacuums plug into the car and I wouldnt be able to use inside my house. Ive had rechargable vacuums and found them clunky, had little suction and usually died in about a year. This Bissell is perfect for me. The main portion of the vacuum sits on the seat of the car and I use the hose and attachment to clean my car. Other vacuums make you hold the whole thing in your hand and some are quite heavy and akward to use. This lttle gem has tons of suction and the attachments allow me to get hard to reach knooks and crannies where M&Ms and coins like to hide. Inside the house, its always ready to clean up spilled plants and coffee grounds, no need to wait for the battery to charge up. Long gone are the days of shoving dirt and crumbs in front of the vacuum hoping it sucks up this time. The long cord allows me to clean all my stairs or my car without an extension cord. I didnt have any problem emptying the dirt and reassemblying it. I would buy it again.

This vacuum was so much fun its ridiculous. PROS: -Very powerful for its size. More suction than even many larger vacuum cleaners. -Extremely easy to use: --Ergonomic and lightweight. On/Off button can be reached by the thumb, one handed. --Rubber tip can safely and efficiently clean cloth and the like. --Plastic hose rotates at BOTH ends, so its rarely awkward. --Attachments are quick and easy to swap. A long one, a wider flat one, and a rubber one. -Cord is a decent length and comes with an attached velcro wrap which is very, very useful. -Emptying is a cinch: --Compartment is clear, so you can tell when its time to empty. --Filter is REUSABLE and easy to clean (as far as reusable filters are concerned, anyways.) --Easy to pop off, dump, pop on again. -The entire thing is accessible, so if anything gets clogged it can be fixed lickety-split. -Remarkably inexpensive. -Yellow-orange is cool. Gives it an industrial edge. CONS: -The cord, wrapped up, is about the same weight as the vacuum. Its a little awkward hanging off the side, but its an understandable sacrifice to save the simple and small design of the rest of the cleaner. -Exhaust blows forwards from both sides, which can kick up dust a little; especially if youre cleaning a dry spill. This isnt much of an issue if you use the hose, though. -Gets kinda warm after a few minutes of use. Doesnt ever seem to get really hot, though. Cools off fast too. -Not exactly easy to store, what with its separate attachments and all. Another sacrifice for its simple design. -Doesnt have a light. Fortunately for me, I had a tiny flashlight with a stretchy strap to attach to my finger or the tip of the nozzle. My genius upgrade. Other cons come from it just being a vacuum cleaner. Such as: -Its noisy. Not deafening, though. -Cleaning the filter gets dust everywhere. Do it outside. *cough, cough* -It gets dirty easy, and visibly. So clean it with a little water and a rag, if its even worth bothering. And its small, so its limited in other obvious ways: -It fills up fast, making it ever the more wonderful how easy it is to empty. -It cant do large areas like carpet or big rugs. -It doesnt come with a long tube or brush attachment. -You cant use it standing up. SYNOPSIS: This vacuum is a JOY. Its easy to use, lightning fast and powerful. YOUR STAIRS WILL BE CLEAN. And your corners will be dustless. I loved running around the house hitting all the dust-bunny hot spots; bang, bang, bang. Done. Clean. No questions asked. I leave all the big stuff to my Filter Queen, but with this Cleanview Ill never cut corners again!

I am not a stupid person and it should not take a half hour to figure out how to re-assemble and install the filters for this product after use and cleaning! i am going to have to get a different hand-held vacuum cleaner- this one is too much of a pain in the XX$%**. too bad because otherwise it gets the job done.

Best hand held sweeper I have ever owned. Love that it is electric.

Im a full time RVer so space is a premium. Reg. vac is too bulky and battery powered hand-held vac lacks power. This is small, lightweight A/C powered vac is perfect. Plenty of suction to easily hold this 2 board. The Bissel attachments included are great for fabrics, rugs, carpets, crevices. Not included are extension wands, floor nozzle and soft brush duster. So, I decided to buy a generic package of these. The generic floor nozzle with extension wands work great as a floor vac esp. hard surfaces, and the generic duster works for shelving, ceiling corners and tight areas. The only negative is I wish Bissel included these attachments with their vac.
