Greater than one weekI purchased this Bissell AeroSlim vacuum specifically for cleaning up the hair off my bathroom floor on a daily (probably needs it hourly) basis. I was hoping to find a compact handheld corded vacuum with the intention of storing it in the vanity, but they don’t seem to exist. I chose this based on the reviews and its size. It works great for its intended and described purpose. (Some of these reviewers sound like they purchased a compact car and are surprised and disappointed it’s not adequate to pull a 40 foot camper). On a full charge, it ran for 16 minutes with stopping for a minute to empty the bin a couple times, so the advertised 12 minute run time is pretty accurate. It works best for dry, loose debris in small quantities like the cheez-it crumbs in the backseat (or driver’s seat, no judgement). If you’re planning on vacuuming a Summer’s worth of beach sand embedded in your car’s velcro like carpeted floor mats, you better drag out the shop vac from the garage. The stand up holder is a nice feature, I didn’t want something to hang on a wall to store. It’s small enough to leave plugged in on a counter or on the floor out of the way and yes, if you bump it hard enough, it will (not surprisingly) probably fall over. While the vacuum is lightweight, it feels very substantial for its size. It is comfortable to hold, I had no issues with accidentally hitting the power button and shutting it off during use. The exhaust fan is on the underside, however, I didn’t have issues with it blowing debris around and not being able to vacuum it up. If you hold it more perpendicular than parallel and use the extension attachment as well, it shouldn’t scatter anything around. It does come with an extra filter, but it would be nice if additional filters were readily available. I did see them on Bissell’s website, but they are currently sold out. Overall I am very pleased with it and it serves the purpose I bought it for.

Greater than one weekI stored this in my car and vaccum when my toddler drops crumbs in his car seat or ground. I can keep my car clean all the time. Its a good size to store in the truck on underneath the car seat. The only down side is the charger to charge is not usb-c.

> 3 dayLove the stand EXCEPT you have to plug it by hand still?? And the exhaust blows all the stuff you’re trying to suck up?? So you kinda have to be careful with the path you suck up the mess or you can blow it around again. Gave it four stars though cause it does suck well and it is lightweight.

> 3 dayWhile the design is very sleek and elegant, this is more a tool to clean up a few crumbs off your desk rather than to do any real cleaning. The dust cup is so small that it fills up in a minute, so youre constantly emptying it out. Also, the exhaust is too near the suction, so while youre cleaning, sometimes the air is whooshing your dirt away from you, making it harder to clean up. The battery life is pretty minimal. I feel like I can vacuum maybe 5-10 minutes before a recharge. I wish I had done my research and bought a real hand vac that would do what I need.

Greater than one weekIve had this for exactly five months. I use the minivacuum for cleaning up seeds around the birdcage and minor spots from a ow-tack rug. It does the job beautifullly and is quiet enough so it does not throw the canary into a panic. It took a while to understand how things work, but once i mastered that removing and replacing the dust receptacle is a breeze. I clean the filter after each use - easily done. Th extension tool for getting into cracks is helpful, but often detaches, not a big deal. Its a gorgeously efficient design for small jobs. The wands battery requires recharging roughly every sixth use, depending on how much energy was used. Its helpful to have three verticla dots of light to indicate when the charge is reaching the bottom. I recharge when it reaches one light. Recharging is easy. The device occupies so little space it is easy to place next to the lap top for recharging. I dont recommend it for picking up leaf droppings as these easily block the suction cup at the center of the dust collecting bin. Its one of my favorite purchases from Amazon. Please tell Bissell I am super happy with this. Perfectly matched for the need.

> 3 dayI don’t like that there are no levels for vacuum strength. You turn it on an that’s it. Too expensive for what it is. But it does the job.

> 3 dayWe like this vacuum cleaner for the small jobs, it does a pretty good job of picking stuff up and we dont really mind the noise while its running. But apparently Bissell thinks everyone is going to set this up on their kitchen counter right next to a wall plug. First, why would I want this on my kitchen counter? Second, why did Bissell only provide an 18 USB cable? Didnt they think everyone might not want this on their kitchen counter or might not have a wall plug (with a USB connector in it) that close to where they really wanted it? We ended up having to buy an AC/USB adapter and a 6 cable so we could put it where we wanted it. Also, why would I want to charge this up with my laptop? I dont know, they should have put the charger in the base, made the base a little sturdier, and included a longer cable and adapter to plug into a regular AC outlet, instead of relying on charging it with a USB source. Other that those complaints, we like this little vacuum just fine, it does exactly what we wanted it to do. 4 out of 5 stars (for the charging anomalies).

> 3 dayMy experience with this handheld vacuum is, when I use it on flat smooth surfaces the exhaust fan located on the underside of the vacuum blows away all the debris before it can vacuum it up. Therefore scattering the dust, crumbs or hair all over the surrounding area and into the air. If you want to use it for your car maybe your experience would be different. I didn’t buy it for that. I would suggest the exhaust fan be relocated to the top or back end. That way you have a better chance of actually vacuuming up your mess and not creating a dust storm. Otherwise, the suction seems pretty good for such a small appliance. And the battery life is acceptable.

> 3 dayIt will pick up small things that accumulate, so your car isnt gradually just getting worse and worse . You can keep it in your car. Dont expect anything more though. VERY small bin thats easy to empty. Battery lasts maybe 10 minutes or so. Its OK for staying on top of small things which is mostly what gets in your floor mats. NOT GREAT SUCTION so dont expect it to lift stuck, recalcitrant litter from between your floor mat grooves.
