I was surprised that it has such a matte finish, but other than that I am pleased with this. It holds all of my make up brushes and is even wide enough to hold my meyer brand soap. I really like it.

This is a good, heavy item I use to store my mascaras and lipsticks and the like. I have another I use to hold makeup brushes.
