I have been buying Beverly UMP protein powder for years. Ive tried several other protein powders, and I just havent found one that matches it. This is a protein powder that is versatile, mixes well (not gritty), tastes good, low calorie (120 calories/scoop), and provides a sufficient amount of protein (20 grams). One thing Ive found you have to be careful about a lot of protein powders out there, especially some highly commercialized brands, is they require 2 scoops of powder & can be high calorie too. Only 1 scoop of Beverly is required to make a protein shake. I use the protein powder mainly for a snack, for breakfast, and post workout. I typically buy the vanilla because I mix it with Greek yogurt and berries for a yummy smoothie, or another favorite of mine is mix it with about 1/4 cup of water, some sliced strawberries, and about 1/4 cup of oatmeal. It may sound strange, but it is so good and filling! I also like the chocolate powder for times when I really want chocolate and dont want all the calories and sugar. 1 scoop has 1 gram of sugar in it, whereas 1 Hershey kiss has slightly over 2.5 grams of sugar! An 8 oz. glass of yummy chocolate goodness or 1 chocolate Hershey kiss? Hmm, Ill take the chocolate protein shake. The secret to make it super yummy is to not use too much water, shake it up real good in a shaker bottle or blender, and then add a handful of ice & shake, shake, shake! Drinking it cold makes all the difference in the world. Oh! Another little tip, mix the protein powder with a little bit of skim milk and make chocolate or vanilla pudding. No need to use an entire scoop of the powder to make the pudding. It may take a little trial and error to get it right, but I promise it is a great alternative to pudding pack, and much better for you. I recommend giving this protein powder a try if you havent tried it before. I dont think you will be disappointed in the taste and how it mixes. I wish it cost less, but Id much rather pay for the quality than pay less and get that nasty, gritty stuff you can get at the big box stores.

UMP has consistently been my favorite tasting protein powder. You can’t go wrong - plus the nutrition is one of the best when you compare cals, fats, carbs & sugars. I recently got this for my husband (my fav flavors are chocolate and/or vanilla; cookies-n-cream I don’t love but he wanted to try it and *does* love it) and now this will likely be our core protein for pre/post workouts, smoothies, shakes, etc. it’s good with water & ice, blended, with almond milk & fruit, for protein pancakes, etc. enjoy!

Literally the best tasting protein powder I’ve ever tasted. Very smooth texture. Goes the BEST with 8 oz milk. Satisfies the sweet tooth I have. Leaves me feeling full.

I’ve never heard a negative opinion about Beverly and now I know why. I’m admittedly not a huge protein shake advocate but I use it to make bars using protein, nut butter, oats, and egg whites. I’ve never seen a powder so fine, which indicates quality, mix-ability and makes it much better to cook with. Graham Cracker tastes great. Superb. Well worth the cost.
