Great stand for my lap top. Appreciate it so much, I am purchasing a second for my daughter.

Cooling - I purchased this stand for use in college, primarily so I could raise my laptop to the same height as my primary monitor. While my focus in purchasing this was on raising my laptop, the stand also helps cool the laptop. I have been thoroughly surprised i its effectiveness. Many times my friends and I will be working on homework together running programs such as Microsoft Teams and Mathworks Matlab simultaneously. In doing so, I will have my laptop on the stand so I can use my monitor. While my friends identical college-issued laptops are very, very hot due to the intensive tasks they are completing, mine is, at the most, warm to the touch. The only difference is that I am using the stand, and they are not. The slots in the stand, while not overly large, do aid in cooling the laptop significantly.

I was experiencing neck issues from bending over my laptop all the time. As an author, this was a huge issue given the time I spend in front of my computer. My chiropractor mentioned getting a stand and I found good reviews of the Bestand. The bottom line, is I love this stand. The ergonomics are now perfect for me and force my head to be parallel to my desk as opposed to being constantly on an angle leaning forward. I use an old MacBook Pro with a 17 inch screen and its perfect.

When I read in the description that this was made out of aluminum, I assumed it was going to be a light weight sort of deal. This is solid metal (or at least it feels that way). It has enough weight to it that I dont think it would be easy to tip over, which I was kind of concerned about since my laptop would be sitting on it. I ordered this in silver and can confirm that the color you see in the product photo is accurate. I dont think there is anything I would change about this product.

This product is very sturdy and puts the laptop at a comforable height to use. I would recommend this product for other web developers and people who use screens for long times.

I have been using it for more than a week, and Im satisfied with my purchase. The stand is very sturdy, I could put both my hands on it when Im typing on the keyboard (the laptop is centered and balanced on the stand). I love the design, its simple and not distracting. The grey color does not match Macs space grey, but that doesnt concern me because I only see a small part of the stand when my laptop is on it.

This is a strong stand that works very well for me. I know that some people want their laptop raised so make it easier to see the screen, but when Im at my desk, I connect mine to an external 27 monitor, and use an external keyboard and mouse. This stand increased by desk space because I was able to put my USB hub and backup drive beneath the laptop...they no longer take up additional room. Believe me...on my desk, I need every inch of space I can get. This stand really did exactly what I wanted.
