Bee Smart Baby, Vocabulary Builder 5

My little boy drops what hes doing and comes running for this video every time. There are about 23 words in the video including the following: motorcycle, watermelon, sand, tummy, potty, sweater, pajamas, carrots, alligator, man, woman, egg and more. The quality of the audio is crisp and features the music of Beethoven while a women pronounces the words. I think what my son likes best about the video is it shows lots of real people, especially babies and children. What is valuable about the video is that it shows the same subject in a variety of forms and settings. For instance, they will show real motorcycles riding, then they will show one still, and then they will show several different looking motorcycle toys with children actively playing with them. After they go through the batch of words once, they will do it again and again with all new representations of the words. The one small criticism or concern I have is that I would prefer some more emphasis on the visual of the written word to develop that recognition. The words are shown, but briefly and I dont think large enough. Overall, I highly recommend this video and will strongly condsider ordering the other four videos in the series.

I am a speech therapist for children ages birth to 3 (and also a mommy). My 15 month old has picked up so many words from this video. We also ordered the actions and opposites. My baby will sometimes request the movie by making a Bzzzz sound. He can say MANY words already (my list count is in the 80s) and can imitate almost anything. I think this DVD series has been a great supplement to the language stimulation he already gets in his everyday environment.

Wonderful, fabulous, amazing videos! My 2 year old daughter has a developmental language disorder from brain damage in the area of her brain that controls language and sensory processing, and these videos have been hugely helpful with her language development (both expressive and receptive). Cant say enough good things about these videos. For a child with a prognosis of never speaking (but possibly learning to sign), she now has 50+ words. I give a LOT of the credit for her progress to these videos. We joke she has the attention span of a flea, but these videos keep her engaged the entire time. Love these videos!

My 8 month old starting watching these videos and found them much more entertaining than other popular baby videos. I believe it helped her learn to speak and associate things/actions with words.

The bumble bee Vocabulary Builder 1-5 videos are excellent. They helped my 18-mon son to speak and read greatly. Every word is so well illustrated in the vedio! They also have other extra benefits features such as sign language and Question & answer! The Motorized Madness is also good, it has 10 machines such as airplane, bulldozer, dump truck, backhoe loader, helicopter, bucket truck, boat, motlecycle, fire truck, and bus. It also explains each part of the machine, like the wings, propellers, engine, cab... The baby bumble bee surely produce the best of the best infant and kids reading program vedios in the market--as good as Dr. Titzers Your baby can read 1-5 DVDs and Dr. Glenn Dormans How to teach your baby to read book. I love baby bumble bees Opposites, Motorize, Actions words 1-3 and vocabulary builders 1-5 the most. Highly recommended!
