> 3 dayI married a Brit. We moved to America. Verily, tea here was declared most vile; twas said even tea shops offered brown dishwater made with tepid stale water. Darkness lay upon the land, & there was much gnashing of teeth. Then lo, I found Barrys Irish Breakfast tea in case quantity, & was declared brilliant husband.

> 3 dayThis is my favorite breakfast tea. 1 bag in 1 mug, about 5.5 oz water (leaving space for milk), microwave, steep 5 minutes. Do not squeeze the bag when removing it, you will press out more tannin and cause the tea to be bitter. Spoon should be nearly invisible at the bottom of the cup if you put the right quantity of water. Add EVAPORATED milk and sugar to taste (or splenda for the diabetics out there - taste is unaffected). The tea is malty and ever so slightly metallic. If your tea is watery after milk addition, you used too much water in brewing. It is a very strong tea, about 3 times stronger than most tea available on U.S. supermarket shelves and really is meant for enjoying with milk or substitute. (Rec: Do not use french vanilla creamer for coffee, it is awful in tea for some reason).

Greater than one weekI’ve drank black tea black all my long life, tried most all of them all I think. I don’t try different teas anymore, I simply love this brand of tea.

17-11-2024The best tea there is! No more having to hunt or find it in the grocery store! No more of having to pay exorbitant prices for smaller boxes. My only issue is how fast I drink it up now that it is so easy to get!

> 3 dayi think this product may be different. I ordered a 6 pack of the 40 count boxes and it was what I had been buying in stores. I ordered this 6 pack of 80 count and I swear its different--not as strong. I *think* there may be less tea in each bag. I even wrote to Barrys Tea to ask if they have different products with similar labels. Everything I bought says Irish Breakfast but the smaller box says brisk refreshing blend and this box says our lightest and most refreshing signature blend. Its possible my taste buds betray me but I drink a lot of tea and I like Barrys for the strength. I really think this is weaker/lighter.

> 3 dayI LOVE Barry’s Tea and have been drinking it for 20+ years. I am disappointed that my last order had over 5 tea bags that have broken apart before I had time to drink my tea! The bags are definitely different and clearly not strong enough.
