These are a godsend for parents. I was terrified of clipping my baby girls nails and these were a life saver. These things shred nails. I didnt clip her nails with actual clippers till she was 1. I also love them for myself for travel. Got 1 in my purse, car, and work bag.

I was really hoping these were going to be amazing based on reviews, but they weren’t that great. They didn’t really file my baby’s nails and I had to push kind of hard on the nail to even try to file them which would end up bending the baby’s nails and not even really file them. They may work better once the baby gets a little older and her nails get stronger, but I wouldn’t recommend for a newborn.

These have been amazing for filing down the jagged razer blades of claws that is our newborns fingernails. They have lasted a year and still working great, but one of them is starting to show its age. Theres still 2 more when the first gets retired here soon. These are GLASS so be very mindful about how they are stored. We use a small hard plastic case to keep them in, dont remember where we got the case from tho. They have survived a few drops on the wood floor from the couch as they got knocked out our grip from our 1 yr old amateur ufc pro, and no signs of breaking so far, that may just be luck though. We definitely recommend these highly! And they would make a great gift item as wel!

Theses are small and very fine grit. The first time I used them the other day on my 6 week old son, they did a great job. I think they are made of glass and the quality seems really good. I never bought any other files in my life so I cant reall compare but so far they are great.

I bought these for my newborn. I like that I can file down his sharp nails without worrying about nipping his fingers with clippers. I only wish I’d brought one with me to the hospital so we could have filed his nails from day 1! Our hospital didn’t have nail clippers and would not help us trim or file. We are still using these at 3 months because they are so easy and functional. Way too sleep deprived to graduate to clippers.

I love these baby files. I had the FridaBaby file, which has a great shape, but that I dont think was gritty enough. My daughters nails never felt totally smooth with the FridaBaby, and since I use a glass file on my own nails, I figured Id try these and Im glad I did. Her nails are smooth and I can file much quicker, since they have a stronger grit. These are going to be a must-have along with my baby shower gifts from now on!

I’ve had no issues using these as an alternative to clippers on my babies nails. I’ve heard too many stories of parents clipping their baby’s nails too closely and cutting them. It’s no trouble taking the time and care to file them down. I suggest using them while your baby sleeps or with the other parent holding them so you can grab their little hands to use it.

These worked great for my baby. I’m still afraid to clip her nails and the regular nail file I had was taking forever and leaving the green color from the filer underneath her nails. I’m so glad I bought these, half the work and half the time makes for one happy baby and mommy! I will definitely buy again!
