It didn’t have a sound.

After reading the users manual, I was so confused I almost returned the thing. My advice is through the manual out and use the tool. Very easy to use, I instantly loved the thing. I have been using VOM s for many years as a mechanic, on electronicly controled diesel engines. This tool makes them almost obsolete.

I was trying to find a 12v switch wire on my Model 3 Performance that turned on when I hit the break pedal and off when I exited the car. It was hard to use a regular meter. This tool allowed me to easily see when it detected the 12v even when I was on the opposite side of the car. Highly recommend.

Why in this day and age would anyone not have an audible signal so you dont have to actually look at it, which can be challenging in bright daylight. Its just a dumb light. My fault for not noticing that though.

Had to find a live wire in my car putting in Daylight Running Lights. This tool did a great job. Made the job easy. Definitely 100% happy with this product.

the probe was not aligned to pierce wire without spinning probe to align. hard to use in tight spaces. now the wire broke off. useless now

This is a great tool that makes piercing and identifying a wire very simple and fast. It eliminates the hassle of trying to pierce a wire with a needle that is located in a hard to reach location. I highly recommend it for anyone doing wiring in hard to reach places. It will save you a lot of time and frustration.

Have been a long time user of Powerprobe products , Worn out a couple of them ..Thought I would give this product a try ...Works as well , Probe isnt as thin , thats easily modified .. I like the tool , use it a lot in auto work .. I say Go for it .. 5 thumbs up ...

Was hunting a hot wire on my quad, which is why I bought this, didnt pick up anything on my first wire n when I switched to the second wire it broke so it ended up on the garage floor with the rest of the useless chinese crap
