Works good, very quiet... Im glad I ordered

This thing is a beast. I know there are cheaper shredders out there but spend a few more dollars and get one that destroys that paper trail. Once I drop my mail in this thing no one is going to get any personal info about me.

Smooth and quiet compared to our old shredder. Seem to be well made.

This small unit is easy to pick up and move around. It is easy to open the bin and empty it. It takes up to 12 sheets at a time (although 10 is more practical depending on thickness of paper). It just works out of the box. Easy to get unjammed if you put in too many sheets. Runs for several minutes at a time. Everything I wanted for my home office.

Almost 20 years ago, I purchased a cross-cut shredder from Staples. Before that shredder, I had gone through multiple shredders in just 2-3 years. The Staples shredder was sturdy and powerful. But the motor finally gave out on my recently. :( I did not think I could replace it with a machine as good. Although I cannot say how well it will ultimately hold up, this unit is quiet, sturdy and well designed. The only thing I dont love is that the shreddings have a lot of static electricity, so when I empty the bin, they fly a bit and dont all make it into the garbage bag or box and some stick in the bin. However, this is minor, and Im going to try spraying the bin with Static Guard.

Pros: compact size, capacity (probably wouldn’t do 12 sheets at a time but goes very strong at about 6), drawer slides well, sturdy weight, not quiet but not super loud. Cons: micro-cuts make a huge mess so if you overfill the small drawer you will be cleaning up bits all over, sliding switch feels fragile. Unless you must have a micro-cut shredder, it seems the cross-cut model in the same size would be easier to keep tidy while taking advantage of the other pros.

Overall, I like the shredder. Its very quiet. But, the on/off switch feels cheap and probably wont last long. And, the paper bin is very difficult to slide in and out of the shredder.

Secure packaging, little heavy for a small home shredder..my previous one lasted over 6 years… I expect the same lol very practical, well made and works quietly :) I highly recommend. Thank you

I am very please with this purchase. It is small and compact. It is very simple to assemble and use. I havent tested it out on credit cards or CDs but I would cut them up by hand anyway. I like that it is on casters so I can more it out of the way when not using it and roll it out when I need it. I love the window that shows how full the bucket is and I really like how you can remove the bucket to empty it would removing the top. This is an IMPORTANT feature. I had to remove the top on my old one and it was a little dangerous cause they are very have. So this is a GREAT little paper-cutter! Love it.

First one arrived broken but exchanged with no problem. This thing works great and is quiet.
