> 3 dayIn the Audiophile circles they are widely regarded as the best headphone you can buy under 200 bucks. After putting them on, now I understand why. They are bar none the best sounding headphones I have ever had the pleasure of putting on my head. Hair on the back of my neck standing up good. Forget the marketing driven Beats by Dre, if you love music, you will love these headphones. Crisp Highs, Full Mids, Deep Bass. The removeable coord makes the worries of losing a headphone to coord issues non existent. Rock Solid build quality, comfortably fit over my larger than average head and ears. A perfect over the ear headphone.

> 3 dayI did so much research for these headphones before purchasing. And most was positive. I went from cheap ear buds to the ATH. I was expecting a huge difference. But its lacking in bass and depth. Id suggest going to an electronics store to try it before buying. I still give it 4 stars. Its very comfortable. My ears never get bothered. Sound quality is good. I just expected more from the product. I think it was still worth the purchase though.

> 3 dayCrisp highs and decent mids+lows. Excellent build quality. Love them when they fold into smaller unit. Suitable for travelling. The extra cables given also prove to be useful when I switch between my computer/cellphone/music player.

> 3 dayThere is no reason to write a book for a review. Point blank plain and simple its like this. I have a pair of Dre Beats as well and My opinion is the Technicas are far better then the Dre Beats headphones for a studio environment. The Technicas weigh much less than the Beats making them much more comfortable over a longer period of time. The Technicas are high quality plastic. The Dre Beats are mostly metal. Technicas have a much more level sound (flat sound from low frequency to high frequency) which means they have honest true sound. Beats have a lot more bass which can mud out some of the other frequencies. I must say having owned the the Beats and now the Technicas, that the Audio Technica ATH-M50xs sound the best and are surely built for a professional studio setting making them amazing. PS I have a little over ten years experience in sound obsession and 7 years studio engineering... I also own a pair of Sony MDR-7506 which are the worlds most popular headphone in many different settings. Dont buy Dre Beats buy Audio Techinica ATH-M50s and save money to buy better quality cables for your mic and studio monitors!!!
